Xali Gold Continues to Demonstrate the Scale and Grade of Gold Mineralization at Pico Machay
Xali’s high-grade channel sampling at Pico Machay validates resource continuity across the deposit.

Xali Gold Corp. has completed assay results from an initial underground and surface sampling program at its Pico Machay Gold Project in Central Peru. The company collected 197 total samples, comprising 78 underground and 119 surface specimens, which were submitted to SGS in Lima for fire assay and atomic absorption analysis.
Surface channel sampling returned 2.92 g/t Au over 31.5 meters, including a high-grade interval of 13.76 g/t Au over 4.5 meters. Underground channel sampling across 13 historically excavated workings returned grades ranging from 0.68 to 4.14 g/t Au. Notable intercepts from prior releases include 2.22 g/t Au over 45.1m and 4.41 g/t Au over 13.7m.
Of the 119 surface samples, 67 returned greater than 0.50 g/t Au. The program defined 10 exploration targets, four of which overlap with prior Aquiline Resources targets. Management states the results build confidence in the historical resource area and highlight potential to expand the known mineralized system. All exposed mineralization and alteration exhibit high-sulphidation epithermal characteristics, including vuggy silica and advanced argillic alteration.
Xali Gold Corp. (XGC) released a routine, incremental follow-up to its June 25, 2026 sampling announcement and the broader Phase I field program initiated in early 2026. The results align with previous expectations and historical data, confirming vertical continuity and high-grade intervals within the known resource footprint.
The channel sampling methodology provides continuous grade data but remains selective point data that does not replace bulk tonnage verification or diamond drilling. No new financing, resource upgrade, or economic study release is attached to this announcement. The news maintains project momentum and supports the upcoming NI 43-101 resource update and Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA), but does not constitute a market-moving event on its own.
Xali Gold Corp. (XGC) is a gold and silver exploration company focused on projects in the Americas. Its flagship asset is the Pico Machay Gold Project in the Huancavelica Province, Peru, located in the Southern Peru Epithermal Gold-Silver Belt. The project is in the advanced exploration stage, with a historical resource of approximately 710,600 oz Au based on a 2009 study at a $700/oz gold price assumption. This resource comprises 264,600 oz in the Measured and Indicated category and 446,000 oz Inferred.
The company’s development strategy targets a low-cost, low-strip-ratio open-pit heap-leach operation, with plans to update engineering studies, conduct metallurgical testing, and advance toward near-term production. Xali Gold also holds a secondary asset, the El Oro Gold-Silver Project in Mexico, which is structured into a tailings reprocessing agreement with Kappes, Cassiday & Associates (KCA) and a hardrock extraction agreement with Remedioambiente S.A. de C.V.
