Rokmaster Options Undrilled Porphyry Copper Target in Northern Chile
Rokmaster expands its portfolio with a new copper option in Chile, adding geographic diversity to its British Columbia-focused exploration activities.

Rokmaster Resources Corp. has entered an exclusive option agreement to acquire 100% of the Cristal Property, a 9 km² undrilled porphyry copper target in Northern Chile, from Patrick James Burns. The total consideration for the deal is 21,000,000 common shares and US$70,000 in cash, payable in three tranches over 36 months, pending approval from the TSX Venture Exchange.
Upon exercise of the option, a 2.5% Net Smelter Returns (NSR) royalty is granted, with buy-back rights allowing the company to repurchase 1% increments for US$1,000,000 each. The property sits along the West Fissure, north of the Collahuasi/Ujina porphyry copper district, with historical magnetic and gravity anomalies suggesting concealed mineralization at depths of 600-800 meters.
Matthew Parent has been appointed President and Director, bringing more than 35 years of corporate strategy and capital markets experience to the role.
Rokmaster Resources Corp. (RKR) has completed a standard portfolio expansion for an exploration-stage junior, adding a new jurisdiction in Chile to its primarily Canadian asset base in British Columbia. The transaction is dilutive, adding 21 million shares to the current ~180.5 million outstanding shares, representing approximately 11.6% dilution over three years.
The deal structure is typical for early-stage exploration, featuring low upfront cash of $70k with equity-heavy consideration and a royalty to preserve working capital. This news aligns with the historical progression of advancing the Nechako project and securing permits, though it does not represent a fundamental shift in the company's risk profile or valuation drivers. No immediate financial impact is expected, as the focus remains on exploration execution and future capital raises to exercise the option and fund drilling.
Rokmaster Resources Corp. (RKR) is an exploration-stage company focused on porphyry Cu-Mo-Au and high-grade Au-Ag vein systems. Its flagship asset is the Nechako Project in west-central British Columbia, which spans approximately 282 km² across the Mystery, Fox-Coconut, and Hanson properties. The Nechako project targets concealed porphyry systems in the Stikine terrane, with recent IP surveys and drilling highlighting strong Mo, Cu, and Au anomalies.
The company also holds additional assets including the Duncan Lake Project (Zn-Pb-Ag), Big Copper, Selkirk, and the Cristal Property in Chile. Management is led by CEO John Mirko, with the recent addition of President Matthew Parent to bolster capital markets and corporate strategy execution.
