Searchlight Begins Airborne Surveys on the Mari Lake Gold Project in Saskatchewan
Searchlight begins airborne surveys at the Mari Lake project to target an unexplored shear zone.

Searchlight Resources Inc. has commenced high-resolution airborne magnetic and radiometric surveys across its entire 43.1 sq km Mari Lake Gold Project claim block in Saskatchewan. The company has also contracted TUZO GeoSurveys to conduct UAV photogrammetry and Lidar surveys at the Robinson Creek Gold target to prepare for a planned diamond drilling program.
The release highlights historical high-grade gold samples from the Mari Lake project, including drill, trench, and pit samples. The property remains relatively unexplored with limited prior drilling depth of less than 50 meters and no prior geophysics. Historical data includes intercepts such as 0.85 oz/ton Au over 2.8 feet and trench samples up to 1.28 oz/ton Au over 10 feet. Management cautions that all presented sample results are historical and have not been independently verified by Searchlight.
Searchlight Resources Inc. (SCLT) issued a routine positive exploration update following its July 14, 2026 announcement to expand the Mari Lake claim block to 43.1 sq km. The company confirmed the execution of the planned airborne survey and Robinson Creek preparation steps previously outlined by management.
There are no new drill results, resource estimates, or financing announcements. The market already anticipated these exploration activities given the company's stated 2026 work plan. The update validates project progression but does not provide new fundamental valuation drivers or unexpected catalysts.
Searchlight Resources Inc. (SCLT) is a mineral exploration company focused on high-grade gold projects in the Flin Flon Mining District of Saskatchewan. Its flagship assets include the Bootleg Lake property, which contains the historic Rio Mine, Henning Maloney, and Wekach deposits, as well as the Robinson Creek gold project. The company is also pursuing a project generation model for critical minerals, including uranium, copper, zinc, and rare earth elements, through its portfolio of staked claims.
The Rio Mine contains approximately 1,500 meters of intact underground workings and closed in 1989 due to low gold prices of approximately $400 per ounce. Current gold prices of approximately $5,000 per ounce significantly improve the economic viability of reopening the mine. Robinson Creek has an initial exploration target of 2–3 million tonnes at 1.20–1.60 grams per tonne of gold, amenable to open-pit mining.
