LIFT Announces Commencement of Drilling at the Adina-Galinee Lithium Project, Quebec

Li-FT Power begins drilling at Adina-Galinee while facing ongoing dilution issues and persistent cash burn concerns.

Executive Summary

Li-FT Power Ltd. has launched its 2026 exploration program at the Adina-Galinee Lithium Project (AGLP) in Quebec. This initiative marks the first exploration effort on the AGLP pegmatite complex under single ownership, following the consolidation of the district through the Winsome acquisition and agreements with Azimut and SOQUEM.

The drilling component of the program consists of 163 diamond drill holes totaling 38,970 meters, designed to infill and expand the current Mineral Resource Estimate while testing depths up to 400 meters. The drilling plan targets sections spaced 50 meters apart in plan view, with pierce points spaced approximately 75 meters apart on section.

Surface exploration activities include 1,672 till samples, 425 rock samples, and geological mapping across 16,355 hectares. These efforts aim to identify new targets across AGLP and four other properties: Cancet, Tilly, Nottaway, and Sirmac-Clapier.

Material Impact

Li-FT Power Ltd. (LIFT) has begun drilling at the Adina-Galinee project, a routine milestone that aligns with the company’s previously announced exploration timeline for July through October 2026. The activity confirms the successful execution of the corporate strategy to consolidate the Adina-Galinee district, a prerequisite for advancing the project's resource base.

The announcement serves as a standard operational update following the completion of the Winsome Resources combination in May 2026. While the development is positive for long-term project growth, it does not contain new, unexpected, or market-moving information. The market has already priced in the asset consolidation and the planned drilling campaign, as evidenced by the stock's decline from its January 2026 highs. The news is incremental and does not alter the fundamental risk profile or near-term cash burn.

Company Overview

Li-FT Power Ltd. is a Canadian lithium explorer focused on hard-rock spodumene projects in Quebec and the Northwest Territories. Its flagship Adina-Galinee Lithium Project in Quebec comprises the Adina property, covering 44 km², and the Galinee property, covering 335 km². The project hosts an indicated resource of 60.5 Mt at 1.14% Li2O and an inferred resource of 15.9 Mt at 1.17% Li2O.

The company also holds the Yellowknife Lithium Project in the NWT, which contains an inferred resource of 50.4 Mt at 1.00% Li2O. Additionally, Li-FT holds a binding call option to acquire the Renard diamond mine site in Quebec, currently on care and maintenance, along with its 2.2 Mtpa processing facility for $1. The company intends to repurpose the site for lithium processing. Li-FT aims to achieve vertical integration by developing a downstream lithium carbonate converter facility for the Yellowknife project.
