Centenario’s Los Reyes sampling confirms high-grade Cu-Mo-Au skarn, with a drilling program scheduled to commence in August.
Centenario Gold Corp. has released assay results from surface and underground rock sampling at its Los Reyes Project in Chihuahua, Mexico. The sampling targeted the El Rey mineral concession, specifically the Tueda and Jibosa shaft zones, with a focus on historical copper-rich skarn zones.
The Jibosa Shaft Zone returned high-grade copper and zinc, including a grab sample with 7.19% Cu and 2.88% Zn, and a 0.6m fracture zone grading 27.9% Cu. Meanwhile, the Tueda Shaft Zone revealed significant molybdenum and anomalous gold values, suggesting gold is present in the mineralized system.
The company plans to commence a 1,500-meter core drilling program in early August 2026, consisting of 4 to 6 holes to test strike and down-dip extensions. Work was supervised by Qualified Person Derrick Strickland, with samples analyzed at ALS Chemex Laboratory.
