First Phase Diamond Drilling and Airborne Geophysical Survey Completed at Cowtrail
Cariboo Rose’s Cowtrail drilling encountered 559 metres of visual mineralization, with assay results expected in six to eight weeks.

Cariboo Rose Resources Ltd. (CRB) and BRS Resources have completed phase one of diamond drilling and an airborne geophysical survey at the Cowtrail Copper-Gold Porphyry Project in British Columbia. The drilling phase encompassed 1,293 meters across four holes. Hole CT26-28 was extended to 559 meters due to observed visual mineralization, and the drill string remains in place. Core processing, sampling, and assay results are expected in six to eight weeks.
Airborne geophysics identified a central magnetic low coincident with a potassium radiometric high at the Lea Lake area, indicating potential hydrothermal alteration similar to nearby deposits. The project remains under an option agreement allowing BRS to earn a 60% interest by completing $2 million in exploration expenditures, $200,000 in cash payments, and $200,000 in share issuances by December 19, 2028.
Cariboo Rose Resources Ltd. (CRB) confirmed operational progress on its 2026 exploration program, which was previously announced in April and May. The company reported that the completion of drilling and geophysics activities is fully in line with prior expectations.
The extension of hole CT26-28 to 559m on visual mineralization represents a positive operational detail, though it does not constitute a material assay result or resource update. No new financial terms, strategic partnerships, or regulatory approvals were disclosed in the release.
The news serves as an incremental and expected procedural milestone ahead of the anticipated assay release. It does not alter the fundamental risk/reward profile at this stage.
Cariboo Rose Resources Ltd. (CRB) is a hybrid prospect generator advancing multiple gold, copper, and silver projects in British Columbia. Its flagship asset is the Cowtrail Copper-Gold Porphyry Project, a 4,717-hectare property contiguous with Vizsla Copper's Woodjam and Redgold projects, located approximately 20 km southeast of the operating Mount Polley Mine. The deposit shares geological characteristics with the Mount Polley deposit, with previous drilling in 2023 and 2025 returning intervals such as 70m @ 0.20% Cu and 0.102 g/t Au.
The company’s portfolio also includes the 100%-owned Lightning Strike gold-silver project, the Carruthers Pass project (optioned to Vizsla), the CHG Project (optioned to Basin Uranium), Coquigold (optioned to CMP Mining), and the Koster Dam joint venture.
