Gold Strike Mobilizes to Gold Strike One Project in Yukon to Identify Drill Targets
Gold Strike advances Yukon exploration with rigs mobilizing for an 8,000-metre drill push despite liquidity and dilution concerns.

Gold Strike Resources Corp. announced the commencement of its 2026 helicopter-supported field exploration program on the Gold Strike One (GS1) Project in the Yukon, scheduled to begin July 3, 2026. The program aims to gather grab and channel rock samples, extend known soil anomalies, and conduct airborne magnetic and radiometric surveys to map geology and identify drill-ready targets for 2027.
GS1 surrounds Snowline Gold’s Valley deposit and shows geological characteristics of Reduced Intrusion-Related Gold Systems (RIRGS); the company aims to determine if current anomalies are part of the Valley system or separate satellite systems. The 2026 work plan includes helicopter-supported field crew operations, collection of grab and channel rock samples, extension of known soil anomalies, and an airborne magnetic and radiometric geophysical survey.
The company aims to complete over 8,000 metres of drilling for the remainder of the 2026 season across its portfolio, following the previously announced fully funded drill program. Data will be prepared under the supervision of David Kelsch, P.Geo., a Qualified Person under NI 43-101.
Gold Strike Resources Corp. (GSR) issued a routine operational update on its fully funded 2026 drill and exploration program, following up on the announcement made on June 10, 2026. The company confirmed the execution of previously disclosed plans, specifically the mobilization of field crews and the initiation of surface exploration activities ahead of the main drilling campaign.
The announcement reinforces management's commitment to advancing the portfolio but does not materially alter the risk-reward profile or valuation drivers. There are no new surprises, unexpected financial terms, or changes to the strategic thesis. The market was already aware of the planned 8,000-metre drill program and the GS1 exploration focus.
Gold Strike Resources Corp. (GSR) is a Yukon-based exploration company focused on gold projects in the Tombstone Gold Belt and Mayo Mining District. The company transitioned from a pure exploration entity to a resource-holder following the May 2026 acquisition of the Florin, FLR, and RJ projects from the LIRECA Group.
Its portfolio includes the FLR and RJ projects, covering approximately 320 square kilometers, as well as the Gold Strike One and Gold Strike Two projects, which span roughly 80 square kilometers adjacent to Snowline Gold's Valley deposit. The company’s flagship asset is the Florin Gold Project, which hosts a pit-constrained inferred resource of 2.507 million ounces of gold at 0.48 g/t Au (162.783 Mt at a 0.30 g/t cut-off). The company is currently in the early stages of exploration and resource expansion.
