Astra Provides Exploration Update and Receives Independent Analyst Coverage from ATB Cormark Capital Markets

Astra Exploration Inc. (ASTR) has released an operational update regarding its La Manchuria project in Argentina and its Don Mario project in Chile, highlighting the completion of Phase III drilling at La Manchuria and ongoing targeting activities at Don Mario. The company also confirmed the completion of a C$15 million financing, stating it is well-positioned to continue exploration while minimizing dilution.

At the La Manchuria project, Astra completed a Phase III drill program consisting of 16 holes totaling approximately 5,170 metres of diamond drill hole (DDH) drilling. The drilling targeted multiple zones, including the Main Zone with 3 holes at vertical depths of 200–300m; a near-surface strike extension northwest of the Main Zone with 2 holes at vertical depths of 100–200m; the Eastern Zone with 4 holes at vertical depths of 50–300m; the Basalto Zone with 3 holes at vertical depths of 100–150m; the Road Zone with 1 hole at vertical depths of 100–150m; and 3 holes in the central area between the Main and Eastern Zone.

Field observations indicate that every drill hole intersected veins and/or veinlets, some with visible mineralization, expanding the system which remains open in all directions. Initial assays are expected as early as July, but are more likely to be reported in August and September.

At the Don Mario project in Chile, Astra completed low-cost, localized drill targeting field work from March to June 2026. Recent work included satellite alteration mapping using WorldView-3, a Controlled & Natural Source Audiofrequency Magnetotellurics (CS-NSAMT) survey, and combined geochemical (LAG) and spectral mineralogy (Terraspec) surveys involving 267 surface samples. Satellite mapping revealed a 1.8 x 2 km northwest elongated silica-alunite anomaly with localized pyrophyllite zones. Management anticipates results from the targeting work in the near future.

Brian Miller, CEO of Astra Exploration Inc., stated, "Q2 has been highly productive and transformational for Astra. Field observations from the Phase III drill program at La Manchuria indicate the deposit continues to grow and will create more drill targets for the next phase of drilling which is expected to commence in early Q4. With the recent financing of C$15M, Astra is well-positioned to continue unlocking value from its exploration assets while minimizing dilution."

Diego Guido, Exploration Director, added, "During the phase III drill program at La Manchuria, every drill hole has intersected veins and/or veinlets, some with visible mineralization, further expanding the system which remains open in all directions."

In other corporate developments, Astra announced that Zach Matheson of ATB Cormark Capital Markets initiated research coverage on the company on May 22, 2026. Additionally, the company entered a contract with BTV for the production of a 1.5–2 minute investor awareness video, with a fee of C$9,650 paid.
