Dryden Gold Launches Major Regional Exploration Program

DRY · Price
Executive Summary
- Dryden Gold Corp. announced the launch of its fully funded 2026 regional summer exploration program across its district-scale land package in the Dryden Gold District of Northwestern Ontario.
- The program centers on a 45,000-metre drill campaign focused on expanding the flagship Gold Rock Target Area, with a second drill rig scheduled to begin operations in early July to evaluate deeper targets and regional prospects.
- Exploration activities will include extensive regional mapping, prospecting, a property-wide heavy mineral concentrate (HMC) sampling program (~740 samples), and follow-up gold-in-till sampling on newly acquired claims.
Key Details
- Exploration Strategy: Program focuses on five key initiatives: (1) expanding the Gold Rock mineralized system along strike and at depth; (2) advancing regional targets including Mud Lake, Hyndman, Sherridon, and Selby; (3) completing a property-wide HMC program; (4) additional gold-in-till sampling on newly acquired Hyndman claims; (5) integrating new geological, structural, and geochemical data into a district-scale exploration model.
- Drilling Program: 45,000-metre drill program primarily targeting the Gold Rock Target Area to grow the footprint across multiple stacked hanging wall and footwall structures. A second drill rig commences in early July to evaluate deeper targets on Elora and Big Master, and to drill at Mud Lake, Selby, and Hyndman.
- HMC Sampling: Approximately 740 HMC samples planned across the property on a 1,000m x 500m grid spacing. Designed to recover and examine individual gold grains for morphology, transport distance, and source location analysis. Protocol developed with a Quaternary geology specialist incorporating LiDAR, till substrate, and glacial ice-flow data.
- Gold-in-Till & Mapping: Follow-up to the successful 2025 gold-in-till program, with newly acquired Hyndman property receiving identical sampling for data consistency. Three geological mapping crews will operate at 1:20,000 to 1:30,000 scales, with a third crew focusing on detailed mapping in Hyndman and Sandy Beach. Two prospecting crews will operate June-September and September-November.
- Regional Geological Model: Development of a comprehensive 3D regional model incorporating lithological/rheological controls, regional unconformities, and intrusive bodies. Model will accommodate multiple deposit styles including orogenic greenstone-hosted gold, intrusion-related/structurally controlled mineralization, and hybrid VMS-overprinted systems. Summer data to be integrated in the fall.
- QA/QC & Assay Protocols: NQ size core split in half. Samples sent to Activation Laboratories (Dryden) for 50-gram fire assay with atomic absorption finish; over limits determined by gravimetric finish. Select samples analyzed via metallic screens. Lab conforms to ISO/IEC 17025 and NI 43-101 standards.
- Qualified Person: Maura Kolb, M.Sc., P. Geo., President of Dryden Gold, has reviewed and approved the technical disclosure.
Notable Quotes
- "The 2026 regional program represents a major step forward in unlocking the full potential of our land package," said Anna Hicken, Vice President of Exploration. "By combining extensive fieldwork, advanced geological modelling, and aggressive drilling, we are positioning the Company to make meaningful discoveries and continue expanding known mineralized systems."
