Goliath Resources Closes $9,800,000 Non-Brokered
Goliath raises C$9.8m to fund 2027 drilling at the Surebet gold discovery.

Goliath Resources Limited (GOT) closed a non-brokered private placement, raising approximately C$9.8 million in gross proceeds. The company issued 6,057,000 flow-through shares at a price of C$1.62 per share to institutional investors. The transaction structure includes no warrants issued and no finder's fees or commissions paid.
Proceeds are designated for exploration expenses on the Golddigger-Surebet Gold Project in British Columbia. Tax renunciations for the flow-through shares will be completed by December 31, 2026. Securities are subject to a statutory four-month hold period ending March 1, 2027.
Management states the company enters 2027 with approximately C$27.5 million in cash. The 2026 drill program completed 48,443 meters across 97 holes, with 55 holes pending assay results.
Goliath Resources Limited (GOT) has secured financing to provide necessary liquidity for its planned 2027 exploration program and to meet a C$24.09 million flow-through share expenditure commitment by December 31, 2026. This transaction serves as a follow-up to previously announced financing efforts, extending the company's cash runway without the inclusion of dilutive warrants or finder's fees.
The shares were issued at C$1.62 per share, a price that reflects current market conditions and sits below the recent trading range while aligning with the company's need to secure capital efficiently. The balance sheet currently holds C$27.5 million in cash, which mitigates near-term dilution risk until the next major capital raise required for the 2027 drill program and resource definition. The news does not introduce new strategic shifts or unexpected operational milestones but reinforces the company's ability to execute its planned exploration program.
Goliath Resources Limited (GOT) is a pre-revenue exploration company focused on the Golden Triangle of British Columbia. The company’s flagship asset is the Golddigger Property, which hosts the Surebet high-grade gold discovery. The property covers 91,518 hectares and controls 56 kilometers of the Red Line geologic trend.
The Surebet system features multiple stacked veins across five zones—Bonanza, Surebet, Golden Gate, Whopper, and Eldorado—with high-grade gold-silver mineralization and visible gold to the naked eye. Metallurgical testing shows 92.2% gold recovery via gravity and flotation, with 48.8% recoverable via gravity alone without cyanide. The company maintains a 100% ownership interest in the Golddigger Property following a March 2026 acquisition.
