Assays Pending in Northern B.C., High-Grade Results in the Yukon: A Look at Silver's Fall Exploration Season

Cassiar’s paid promo recap adds no assays, leaving 2026 drill results still pending for the project.

Executive Summary

Cassiar Gold Corp. (GLDC) is featured in a third-party "Market Updates" commentary distributed by Market Equities Limited (MEL). The piece bundles five unrelated companies—GoldHaven, Cassiar Gold, Silver North, Santacruz, and Aya—into a single silver-themed roundup. The disclaimer notes that MEL owns shares in GoldHaven, that Baystreet.ca Media Corp. has been paid for GoldHaven advertising, and that the article has been reviewed and approved by GoldHaven Resources Corp.

The content regarding Cassiar Gold is a restatement of the company’s 22 October 2026 release. The company reported that its 2026 exploration program is nearing completion, comprising approximately 10,000 meters across 37 drill holes on a 590 km² property. Additionally, the company announced a non-brokered private placement for up to $3,000,000 with insider participation, scheduled to close on or about 4 November 2026.

Regarding the Taurus deposit, the release cited 410,000 ounces of Indicated resources at 1.43 g/t Au and 1.93 million ounces of Inferred resources at 0.95 g/t Au. The text included a quote from Chairman Steve Letwin describing the development as an "important stage in its evolution."

The update contained no new assays, drill holes, widths, cutoffs, or QP sign-offs on technical data. New content in the release pertained to other companies, including GoldHaven’s 18.5 meters of massive sulphide at D Zone with assays pending and true widths unknown, and Silver North’s 4.41 meters (3.87 meters true width) at 1,669 g/t Ag from three of 24 holes.

Material Impact

Cassiar Gold Corp. (GLDC) shares have returned to the lower end of their 52-week trading range, currently hovering near C$0.29–C$0.31, following a decline from C$0.65 on 6 March 2026. This price action reflects the market’s absorption of recent developments, including a sharp drop in October and the full reversal of gains driven by late-year drilling results.

However, those gains have been entirely given back, removing that price anchor from the current valuation. In contrast, the market reacted negatively to the financing completed on 22 October. Shares fell from C$0.35 on 21 October to C$0.29 on 22 October, a 17% decline. The hard-dollar unit price of C$0.35 associated with that financing now sits above the current C$0.31 market price. Additionally, flow-through pricing has deteriorated significantly, dropping from C$0.76 in May 2026 to C$0.50 in October 2026, representing a 34% decline in the price institutions pay for tax-advantaged paper.

Cassiar Gold remains a pre-revenue explorer with a market capitalization of approximately C$50 million. The company’s resource consists of 2.34 moz of gold, predominantly in the Inferred category, with no preliminary economic assessment (PEA) or reserve defined. At this stage, the equity story is driven primarily by assay results, metallurgical testing, or the release of a PEA, rather than promotional updates.

Company Overview

Cassiar Gold Corp. (TSXV: GLDC; OTCQX: CGLCF; FRA: 756) is the 100% owner of the 590 km² Cassiar Gold Property located in the Liard Mining Division of northern British Columbia. The company’s assets include the Cassiar North and Cassiar South deposits, as well as the Sheep Creek property.

At the Cassiar North Taurus deposit, the company holds an Indicated resource of 8.8 Mt at 1.43 g/t Au for 410,000 oz and an Inferred resource of 63.2 Mt at 0.95 g/t Au for 1.93 moz. These figures are based on a 0.4 g/t Au pit-constrained cutoff in a June 2025 NI 43-101 report by Zelligan/Jolette. Ninety-one percent of the ounces are located within 150 m of the surface, and the deposit remains open laterally and at depth. Regional targets in this area include Newcoast, Wings Canyon, Auroch, Hopeful, and Snow Creek.

The Cassiar South area features past-producing high-grade quartz veins, including the Main, Vollaug, Cusac, and Bain deposits. These veins historically produced more than 314,000 oz at head grades of 10-20 g/t. There is currently no NI 43-101 resource defined for this area.

Sheep Creek covers 4,151 ha and is the third-largest past-producing orogenic gold camp in British Columbia. A NI 43-101 technical report for the property was effective in August 2017, but there is no current resource.

Infrastructure on the property includes Highway 37, which bisects the land, along with 160 km of access roads and a 1.2 km airstrip located 5 km from Taurus. The site supports a 48-person permanent camp with grid power and 25 km of underground workings across 17 portals. The fully owned, permitted Erickson mill last produced in 2007 with approximately 93% historical recoveries. Mine permits M-149 (1.2 km²) and M-127 (20 km²) are in place, and the MYAB exploration permit runs to 31 March 2031.

The company’s capital structure consists of approximately 161.5M shares outstanding and ~201.6M fully diluted. There are 10.6M options with exercise prices between C$0.23 and C$0.79, representing C$4.5M in potential proceeds. Additionally, there are 27.2M warrants with exercise prices between C$0.28 and C$0.65, representing C$21.3M in potential proceeds. These warrants are exercisable only on a Cassiar South joint venture or strategic transaction.

According to the company presentation, the board and management team includes Chairman Steve Letwin, CEO Marco Roque, and VP Exploration Jill Maxwell, P.Geo. (QP). The presentation’s management page lists Chris Stewart as CEO, while company releases quote Marco Roque, a disclosure inconsistency that warrants reconciliation.
