Decade Hits Porphyry in Every Hole That Reached Bedrock at Bonaparte, Including Two Holes 1.2 km Apart; System Appears More Than 2 km Wide
Decade confirms a porphyry model at Bonaparte with drilling hitting the center zone, while assays remain pending.

Decade Resources Ltd. reports that all five completed drill holes at its Bonaparte property in British Columbia have intersected porphyry dykes within highly altered rock upon reaching bedrock. The sixth hole, DDH-BN-6, is currently drilling strongly potassic altered rock containing chalcopyrite and hydrothermal breccia, features typical of the center of a porphyry system.
The main induced polarization (IP) anomaly measures 3 x 4 km, with surface mapping and drilling suggesting a porphyry system along the Cooler Creek valley that is more than 2 km wide. Five holes totaling 2,000 m have been completed. DDH-BN-1 and DDH-BN-2 intersected mineralized porphyry. DDH-BN-3 was lost in overburden and will be redrilled. DDH-BN-4 and DDH-BN-5 intersected porphyry dykes 1.2 km apart.
Assay results for all drill and surface samples are pending and will be released once received and reviewed by the Qualified Person.
Decade Resources Ltd. (DEC) released results on October 8, 2026, serving as a direct follow-up to its August 31, 2026 announcement of DDH-1, which first identified a textbook porphyry alteration sequence. A September 9, 2026 update had expanded the program to 4,000 meters and added a new eastern target. The October 8 results validate the company's aggressive expansion and confirm the spatial continuity of the porphyry system.
The company hit porphyry in every hole that reached bedrock, including two holes 1.2 kilometers apart, which strongly supports the buried porphyry model proposed by the BC Geological Survey. The discovery of strongly potassic alteration, chalcopyrite, and hydrothermal breccia in DDH-BN-6 indicates the drill is approaching the likely center of the system.
The news confirms the geological thesis but remains an exploration update without assay grades. The drilling program was already announced and funded, so the results are expected to represent incremental progress rather than a market-moving event.
Decade Resources Ltd. (DEC) is an exploration-stage company focused on precious and base metals in British Columbia. Its flagship asset is the Bonaparte Copper-Gold Property, located approximately 50 km north of Kamloops, over which the company holds an 80% interest. The property features three target styles: Cu/Au/Mo porphyry potential, bulk-tonnage RIRGS (Reduced Intrusion-Related Gold System), and high-grade Au-Cu epithermal veins. Historic production on the property includes a 1994 bulk sample that yielded 3,160 ounces of gold at 25.4 g/t Au. The company also holds interests in the North Mitchell, Del Norte, Nobody Knows, and Red Cliff projects, all situated in prospective BC mining camps.
