Liberty Gold Strengthens Treasury with Final US$2.6 Million in Non-Dilutive Proceeds as Black Pine Advances
Liberty receives $2.6m from the final TV Tower payment as it files the Black Pine feasibility study.

Liberty Gold Corp. announced the receipt of the final staged payment of US$2.6 million, completing the total US$8.5 million consideration for the sale of its 72.1% interest in the TV Tower copper-gold project in Türkiye. The transaction converts a non-core asset into non-dilutive capital, which management intends to use to maintain focus on advancing the Black Pine Oxide Gold Project in Idaho.
Black Pine has completed its feasibility study, is advancing through formal mine permitting, and has been designated a Covered Project under the U.S. federal FAST-41 program. Management confirmed the payment adds US$2.6 million to the treasury, allowing the company to carry Black Pine’s progress through the next stage of development without shareholder dilution.
Liberty Gold Corp. (LGD) received an incremental US$2.6 million, a routine follow-up to asset monetization steps initially announced in April 2024, with subsequent updates in October 2024 and October 2025. The receipt is expected and does not alter the project's economics, financing requirements, or permitting timeline.
The market has already priced in the TV Tower sale and the concurrent advancement of Black Pine. The completion of this specific payment serves as a procedural milestone rather than a value-inflection event. In line with prior expectations, the capital is being deployed to fund corporate costs and Black Pine's feasibility and permitting workstreams, with no surprises or deviations from the established capital allocation strategy.
Liberty Gold Corp. is a development-stage gold company focused on the Black Pine Oxide Gold Project in southeastern Idaho, USA. The Black Pine project is a large-scale, 16-year open-pit, run-of-mine (ROM) heap-leach operation that requires no ore crushing.
A completed Feasibility Study outlines a Probable Mineral Reserve of 4.04 million ounces of gold, with an initial capital cost of US$411.4 million. Base-case economics at $3,250/oz Au yield an after-tax NPV(5%) of $2.397 billion, a 60.5% IRR, and an All-In Sustaining Cost (AISC) of $1,566/oz.
The project is advancing through federal (FAST-41) and state permitting, with a target Record of Decision in early 2028.
