Rex Resources target receives holder OK for extension

Rex Resources Corp. (OWN) announced that it has received approval from 99.6% of Bathurst Holdings Inc.'s (BHI) voted subscription receipt holders to extend the closing deadline of its reverse takeover (RTO) transaction to no later than March 31, 2027. The transaction remains contingent on receiving approval from the government of New Brunswick to close the transactions contemplated under the asset purchase agreement.

Trading in Rex Resources' common shares remains halted and is not expected to resume until the completion of the RTO transaction.

In conjunction with the transaction update, directors and investors completed a site visit at the Stratmat and Halfmile projects in New Brunswick, Canada, and met with local Pabineau First Nations and government officials.

Craig Taylor, Chief Executive Officer of Rex Resources, stated: "It is imperative that New Brunswick and Canada continue to support and advance critical metals projects for the benefit of all Canadians and the world, at such a crucial time in our history.
