Visible Gold Expands Its District-Scale Horsefly Gold Property by Staking 144 km2 of New Claims Adjacent to IAMGOLD's Nelligan Mining Complex
Visible expands district-scale land adjacent to IAMGOLD to fuel early-stage exploration efforts.

Visible Gold Mines Inc. (VGD) announced the staking of 144 km² of new claims, expanding its wholly-owned Horsefly property to 360 km², comprising 643 claims. The expanded land package is situated in the Chibougamau Mining Camp, directly adjacent to IAMGOLD's Nelligan Mining Complex, which hosts 4.3 million ounces of measured and indicated gold and 7.5 million ounces of inferred gold.
The company is initiating a preliminary exploration program focused on tree bark sampling, with results expected in the coming weeks. This development follows a series of aggressive land acquisitions throughout 2026, including a 170 km² expansion in March and the acquisition of the 250 km² Sakami property in May.
Visible Gold Mines Inc. (VGD) has taken an expected, incremental step in its strategy to assemble a district-scale portfolio within a proven gold camp. The staking activity carries no immediate financial impact or share issuance.
Visible Gold Mines Inc. (VGD) is a growth-oriented gold exploration company focused on northwestern Québec. Its flagship asset is the Horsefly Gold Property, located in the Chibougamau camp. The property benefits from proximity to IAMGOLD's Nelligan complex and existing regional infrastructure. It is in early-stage exploration, with historical grab samples returning up to 18.13 g/t Au and diamond drilling intercepts.
The company also holds the Sakami Gold Project, a 250 km² district-scale property acquired in May 2026 in the James Bay region, adjacent to other active gold projects. Visible Gold Mines employs a systematic, target-driven exploration strategy to de-risk assets and attract major producer interest.
