Royal Road Commences Drilling at Guintar and Advances Colombian Exploration Portfolio

Royal Road begins drilling at the Güíntar project, though no new assay results or resource estimates have been released to date.

Executive Summary

Royal Road Minerals Limited (RYR) issued an exploration update rather than a new drilling-results announcement. Diamond drilling has commenced at Güíntar, beginning from Platform 20 to test down-plunge and down-dip extensions beneath historical holes GUI-DD-013 and GUI-DD-028, with additional drilling planned from Platform 19. No new Güíntar drill assays are reported.

The release recycles previously reported historical intercepts: - GUI-DD-013: 131 m at 1.0 g/t AuEq, equivalent to 1.3% CuEq, including 57 m at 1.4 g/t Au, 10.2 g/t Ag and 0.6% Cu. - GUI-DD-028: 176 m at 1.2 g/t AuEq, equivalent to 1.4% CuEq, including 76 m at 2.1 g/t Au, 7.9 g/t Ag and 0.4% Cu; hole remained open at depth.

The Company explicitly states these are not true widths and it does not have sufficient information to estimate true widths.

Underground sampling at Algodona returned 36 m at 2.14 g/t Au and 6.95 g/t Ag, plus 11 m at 1.49 g/t Au; these are continuous rock-chip sampling lines from artisanal workings, not true widths.

Reprocessed historical IP data at Niverengo defined an untested chargeability anomaly greater than 40 mV/V coincident with a magnetic susceptibility high.

Selective resampling of 21 pyrrhotite-bearing veins from historical core returned 0.15 to 69.5 g/t Au, with a median of 1.17 g/t Au; samples were selected on vein presence and are explicitly not representative of overall grade.

At La Merced, channel sampling along approximately 140 m of road-cut returned an average of 1 g/t Au; this is a sampled traverse, not a continuous interval or true width.

Material Impact

Royal Road Minerals Limited (RYR) is a pre-revenue, pre-resource explorer with no mineral resources, reserves, or economic studies. The company’s market capitalization is approximately C$64 million, with its equity priced on exploration optionality rather than a defined deposit.

The recent release does not alter the resource or deposit thesis as there are no new drilling results. The market is already aware of the Güíntar historical intercepts; the stock has round-tripped from the March 2026 Güíntar release and is now near the C$0.20 financing price. Drilling commencement is expected after recent private placements, meaning this development is not an incremental surprise.

While the new surface and resampling data are encouraging, they are singular and selective and do not materially de-risk the project. Consequently, the release is not material in either direction, serving as a routine operational update with a modestly positive tone.
