Geiger Makes Second Grassroots Uranium Discovery at Aberdeen: First Hole at Apollo Target Extends the Kiggavik Trend

Geiger’s second cps-only Thelon hit extends the trend, with assays remaining the definitive test for the deposit’s potential.

Executive Summary

Geiger Energy Corporation (BEEP) announced a second grassroots uranium discovery at its Aberdeen Project in the Thelon Basin of Nunavut. The announcement centers on drill hole APL26-001, the first hole ever drilled at the Apollo target. The hole intersected approximately 16 metres of elevated radioactivity in two principal zones at depths of 206–210 m and 216–228 m.

Elevated radioactivity also begins at approximately 68 m and recurs down the hole, which reached a total depth of 384 m. Radioactivity is reported only in counts per second (cps), not uranium grade. The principal zones largely exceed 80 cps, with intervals above 200 cps and locally greater than 400 cps. Mineralization is hosted in intensely clay-altered, bleached and hematized breccias with disseminated and blebby uranium mineralization.

Apollo sits on the Andrew Lake Fault, the structure associated with Orano’s Kiggavik-area deposits, and is located about 10 km southwest of the Fox discovery. Apollo comprises three gravity-low anomalies over about 3.7 km; only the central anomaly has been tested. Follow-up drilling at Apollo and Fox is stated as the immediate priority.

Material Impact

Geiger Energy Corporation (BEEP) announced a second radiometric uranium occurrence in a new drill hole at a separate target on the Andrew Lake Fault, approximately 10 km from the Fox zone. This discovery supports the company’s targeting model and extends the perceived footprint of the Aberdeen district.

The Fox announcement on September 1 briefly moved the stock from about C$0.20 to C$0.23, but by September 11 the stock had returned to C$0.20. Apollo is a weaker radiometric result than Fox in both apparent thickness and peak cps, meaning it would not have cleared the anchor even if Fox had been embedded.

As a new zone, the result is incremental validation rather than a transformational discovery. It does not establish a mineral resource, nor does it prove grade, continuity, or scale. Genuine materiality only arrives if follow-up assays confirm meaningful U3O8 grade over true width.
