Cassiar Gold Drills 13.53 g/t Gold over 13.4 Meters from 28.2 Meters Downhole, Including 210.71 g/t Gold over 0.8 m with 369.00 g/t Gold over 0.4 Meters from 39.8 m Downhole, Extends Higher-Grade Domains at the Taurus Deposit

Executive Summary

On December 3, 2025, Cassiar Gold announced assay results from 9 of 20 diamond drill holes (2,066 m) from its 2025 exploration program at the Taurus Deposit. The highlight was hole 25TA-245, which intersected 13.53 g/t gold over 13.4 meters, starting from a shallow depth of 28.2 meters. This intercept included a bonanza-grade sub-interval of 210.71 g/t gold over 0.8 meters (which itself contained 369.00 g/t gold over 0.4 meters).

Other significant results included: - Hole 25TA-242: 2.81 g/t gold over 21.9 meters - Hole 25TA-238: 1.30 g/t gold over 21.7 meters and 27.18 g/t gold over 0.9 meters in a separate interval.

The company noted that results for the remaining 11 holes at Taurus and the entire drill program at the Newcoast prospect (5,243 m) are still pending. Concurrently, the company announced the grant of 2,270,000 stock options at an exercise price of $0.29 to directors, officers, employees, and consultants.

Material Impact

The drill results are materially positive and represent some of the best intercepts reported by the company to date in terms of grade over width. The headline intercept of 13.53 g/t Au over 13.4m is excellent and successfully demonstrates the company's objective of defining higher-grade domains within the larger, lower-grade bulk tonnage resource at Taurus.

A critical point of analysis is the impact of high-grade, "nuggety" mineralization. The headline intercept's grade drops from 13.53 g/t (uncapped) to 2.05 g/t when a 20 g/t Au cap is applied. This highlights that a very small interval of bonanza-grade gold is driving the average. While 13.4 meters of 2.05 g/t gold is still a strong, potentially economic result, it underscores the geological risk and the difficulty in modelling these high-grade zones with confidence. This is consistent with previous results, such as in January 2025, where an intercept of 19.7 meters at 6.84 g/t was reduced to 1.89 g/t when capped due to a single 0.4m sample of 315 g/t gold.

These results follow a series of positive project milestones, including a significant resource update in June 2025 that established a 410,000 oz Indicated resource and grew the Inferred resource to 1.93 million ounces. After that update, the company successfully raised ~$6.0M in July 2025, providing a solid financial runway to complete its 2025 exploration program and subsequent analysis.

The market has been waiting for results from this drill program. While the news is positive, the accompanying grant of 2.27 million options adds to potential future dilution. Overall, the news reinforces the investment thesis by confirming near-surface, high-grade potential which could materially improve the economics of the large, low-grade Taurus deposit.

Company Overview

Cassiar Gold Corp. is a Canadian gold exploration company focused on its 100% owned, 590 sq km Cassiar Gold Project in northern British Columbia. The property is road-accessible and has a 300 tpd mill on site (currently on care and maintenance) from historical operations. The flagship asset is the Taurus deposit at Cassiar North, which hosts a large, near-surface, pit-constrained bulk-tonnage gold resource. The June 2025 NI 43-101 resource estimate for Taurus includes 8.8 Mt at 1.43 g/t Au for 410,000 oz in the Indicated category and 63.2 Mt at 0.95 g/t Au for 1.93 million oz in the Inferred category. The company is focused on expanding this resource and defining higher-grade starter pits.
