Alkane’s FY26 reserve growth confirms exploration success, though no new catalysts emerged beyond this routine update.

Alkane Resources Limited (ALK) released its Group Mineral Resource and Ore Reserve statement as of June 30, 2026. The company reported that all producing assets replaced depletion through exploration and extension, with NI 43-101 compliant technical reports released for all assets.

Alkane Resources Limited released its routine annual resource and reserve update, confirming management’s exploration success and reserve replacement efforts. Reserve growth of approximately 61,000 ounces of gold and 4,300 tonnes of antimony year-over-year demonstrates successful depletion replacement, a trend heavily telegraphed by continuous high-grade drill results throughout 2026.
The stock closed at $1.80 on August 21 following the earnings release and remained at $1.80 on September 10 with the reserve update, indicating the market had already priced in the operational and financial results. There was no change to guidance, capital allocation, or strategic outlook.
Alkane Resources Limited (ALK) operates three producing underground and open-pit mines: Tomingley in New South Wales, Australia; Costerfield in Victoria, Australia; and Björkdal in Sweden. The company merged with Mandalay Resources in August 2025, creating a multi-jurisdictional gold and antimony producer. Its development assets include the Boda-Kaiser gold-copper porphyry project and the Northern Molong Porphyry Project. Alkane Resources is 100% owned and listed on the ASX, TSX, and OTCQX. Operations benefit from a dual-metal revenue stream of gold and antimony, providing diversification within a single portfolio.
