TRU Precious Metals Identifies New Gold-in-Soil Anomalies at Golden Rose and Stakes Additional Claims Expanding License Area
TRU Precious expands its Golden Rose license area through new gold-in-soil anomalies and claim staking.

TRU Precious Metals has identified two new gold-in-soil anomalies near the Wood Lake gold zone at its Golden Rose Project in Central Newfoundland. The Wood Lake East anomaly measures approximately 900m x 450m, extending between historic "Sure Shot" (25.7 g/t Au) and "Hill Top" (2.9 g/t Au) showings. The Wood Lake Southwest anomaly measures approximately 450m x 450m and is located within a 51% joint venture with Quadro Resources.
Surface trenching is actively underway to follow up on the anomalies and test for underlying mineralization. Additionally, the company staked 394 additional claims along the southern boundary to secure ground along the interpreted trace of the Valentine Lake Shear Zone.
In an administrative update, TRU Precious Metals granted 8,650,000 stock options at $0.05/share. The options vest immediately and carry a 3-year term. The release follows the March 2026 announcement of a >3km mineralized sandstone trend and the June 2026 commencement of the 2026 field season.
The company identified soil anomalies and conducted subsequent trenching, actions that align with its stated strategy to expand known zones and test new targets.
The immediate financial impact is neutral to slightly negative due to a dilutive stock option grant of 8.65 million options at $0.05. No new drill results or resource estimates were provided, limiting the market impact to exploration progress. The news confirms the company is actively advancing its geological model and securing ground, which supports long-term prospectivity but does not alter near-term valuation.
TRU Precious Metals Corp. (TRU) is an exploration-stage company focused on the Golden Rose Project in Central Newfoundland. The project spans approximately 300 km² along the gold-bearing Cape Ray-Valentine Lake Shear Zone, positioned between Equinox Gold's Valentine Mine and AuMEGA Metals' Cape Ray Project. The company holds a 51% interest in the Staghorn Property via a joint venture with Quadro Resources.
The project is in the early exploration phase with no defined mineral resources or reserves. Exploration targets include gold and copper, with historical grab samples showing high-grade gold (up to 91.3 g/t Au) and copper (up to 7.6% Cu). The company benefits from government exploration assistance programs in Newfoundland and Labrador.
