Sage Potash Corp.'s Updated Mineral Resource Estimate Delivers 226 Million Tonnes at 41.36% KCl in Measured & Indicated and an Additional 545.4 Million Tonnes at 41.53% KCl in Inferred
Sage Potash reports a 259% increase in measured and indicated resources, though the company continues to face ongoing liquidity pressures.

Sage Potash Corp. announced an updated Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for its Sage Plain Potash Project in Utah's Paradox Basin, introducing Measured and Indicated categories for the first time. These categories total 226 million tonnes at 41.36% KCl. An additional 545.4 million tonnes at 41.53% KCl are classified as Inferred, bringing the total in-place sylvinite resource to 771.5 million tonnes.
This represents a 259% increase in tonnage compared to the September 2025 Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA), which reported 298.1 million tonnes in the Inferred category only. The upgrade was driven by high-grade, thick intervals intersected during the Summer 2026 drilling program at the Peterson 1 Well.
Technical parameters note a 100% extraction ratio and 0% plant loss for gross resource calculations, with anticipated mining parameter deductions and economic cut-offs to be applied in future studies. 25% of the project area was excluded from the resource estimate due to unknown seismic anomalies, as 3D seismic has not been completed. The company plans to file a NI 43-101 Technical Report within 45 days and advance a Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) to demonstrate economic viability.
Sage Potash Corp. (SAGE) has released an updated Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE), marking the expected conclusion of its Summer 2026 drill program announced in April and May 2026. The update introduces Measured and Indicated categories, a technical milestone that increases total tonnage by 259%. This expansion significantly de-risks the geological model and provides a stronger foundation for the upcoming Preliminary Feasibility Study (PFS). However, the resource remains largely Inferred, accounting for 70% of the total, and critical mining deductions have not yet been applied.
The release excludes 25% of the area due to unaddressed seismic anomalies, introducing geological uncertainty that could impact future reserve conversion. The news does not address the company's severe liquidity constraints. The MD&A explicitly flags a going-concern risk, and the company faces a €9.17 million equipment payment obligation due in April 2027.
Sage Potash Corp. (SAGE) is a pre-revenue junior exploration company focused on the Sage Plain Potash Project in Utah's Paradox Basin. The flagship project targets the Cycle 18 Upper and Lower potash beds, which contain high-grade sylvinite mineralization. The company aims to develop a solution mining operation targeting an initial capacity of 300,000 tonnes per year, positioning itself as a domestic potash supplier in the United States. The project has received all necessary local and state drilling permits, and the company has secured a refurbished processing plant to support future operations.
