Stockpiles Continue to Deliver High- Grade Gold Assays
Providence reports high-grade stockpile assays advancing the permitted bulk sample path at its La Dama de Oro project.
Providence Gold Mines Inc. has released assay results from a second stockpile trenching program conducted at the Tarantula mine, located on the La Dama de Oro property in California. The company is currently negotiating with a local mill operator for a permitted 1,000-ton bulk sample and plans to drill test the Western Mojave Girl vein using 400-to-600-foot core holes. Geophysical surveys are also planned to determine target sizes prior to drilling.
Assay results from the trenching program included the following intercepts:
- North Trench: 8.1 g/t Au over 5 ft, 8.9 g/t Au over 5 ft, and 2.4 g/t Au over 5 ft.
- South Trench: 0.9 g/t Au over 4 ft, 2.9 g/t Au over 4 ft, and 1.6 g/t Au over 4 ft.
- Trench 5 ft North: 3.9 g/t Au over 5 ft and 6.2 g/t Au over 5 ft.
Additionally, a new surface discovery vein identified as the Western Mojave Girl was channel sampled, reporting 8 g/t Au over a true width of 0.45m.
Providence Gold Mines Inc. (PHD) confirmed the continuation of high-grade assay results from stockpile sampling, aligning with previous Phase 1 and Phase 2 updates from May and June 2026. Assay values are consistent with prior expectations, previously up to 8.0 g/t Au, demonstrating that the historical stockpiles and underlying veins remain robust.
The announcement validates the exploration thesis and keeps the company on track for the permitted 1,000-ton bulk sample. It does not introduce fundamentally new information, nor does it change the company's development timeline or capital requirements. The market already priced in the permitting status and sampling progress.
Providence Gold Mines Inc. is focused on the La Dama de Oro gold-silver property in the Silver Mountain Mining District, California. The property is a historic high-grade producer with a low-sulfidation epithermal Au-Ag vein system. The largest known vein, Mojave Girl, is up to 5 ft wide and remains open for over 6,000 ft along strike.
All necessary permits, including water, road, environmental, plan of operations, and mill site approvals, are in place, and the property is approved for a 1,000-ton bulk sample. No modern drilling or NI 43-101 compliant resources have been defined to date.
