Blue Moon Acquires Strategic Water Rights and Land Package for Springer
Blue Moon acquires Nevada land for $8m, doubling Springer water rights to support its mining operations in the region.

Blue Moon Metals Inc. (MOON) has entered a definitive agreement to acquire a strategic land package and associated water rights near its Springer mine in Pershing County, Nevada. The total consideration for the transaction is US$8.0 million, structured as US$3.5 million in cash and US$4.5 million in common shares.
The acquisition secures over 2,100 acres and more than 1,500 acre-feet per annum (afa) of water rights in the Imlay basin, effectively doubling Springer’s existing water rights. The property provides access to Highway I-80 and the Union Pacific rail line, positioning it as a strategic logistics hub.
Conditions precedent to the deal include TSXV approval and the completion of the water rights transfer, with expected closing in early 2027.
Blue Moon Metals Inc. (MOON) has secured long-term water rights to address a critical operational constraint for its Springer hub-and-spoke model, a move essential for tungsten processing and future expansion. The transaction includes an equity component of $4.5 million, introducing manageable dilution that is offset by the strategic value of the acquired land and water. This development follows the company’s February 2026 acquisition of the Springer mine and mill, representing an expected, incremental step in developing the Nevada hub. The news confirms management's execution on securing necessary infrastructure and aligns with previously announced plans to expand Springer's capacity and logistics.

In the United States, the company is implementing a hub-and-spoke model centered on the Springer tungsten mill in Nevada. Acquired in February 2026, the Springer facility is targeted for restart by Q4 2027.
