Geomega Corporate Update
Geomega’s demo plant is on track for November commissioning, though the company’s cash runway remains tight.

Geomega Resources Inc. (GMA) issued an operations update on September 2, 2026, detailing progress across its three technology platforms. The company’s rare earth magnet recycling demonstration plant has completed more than 75% of its process piping, with commissioning now scheduled for November 2026.
In its bauxite residue valorization program, Circuit 3 successfully produced titanium dioxide with greater than 98% purity and a rare earth and scandium concentrate with 90% purity. These results were achieved after testing 12 samples sourced from eight refineries.
The sulphide-tailings valorization program has been restarted and expanded. Initial testwork indicates potential for the recovery of precious and base metals, iron suitable for direct reduced iron (DRI), and sulphur.
Regarding corporate holdings, Geomega retains ownership of the Montviel rare earth carbonatite deposit and holds 16.8 million shares of Auriginal Mining Corp.
Geomega Resources Inc. (GMA) confirmed steady progress on its demonstration plant, validating the technical robustness of its bauxite residue process across multiple global feedstocks. The company shifted the commissioning timeline from summer to November 2026, a minor delay that does not materially alter the commercialization schedule. This update aligns with previously telegraphed milestones and does not introduce new revenue streams or capital raises.
Geomega Resources Inc. (GMA) develops technologies for critical metal extraction from waste streams, including NdFeB magnet recycling, bauxite residue valorization, and sulphide tailings processing. Headquartered and primarily operating out of Saint-Hubert, Quebec, the company holds assets including the Montviel rare earth carbonatite deposit and a 16.8 million share stake in Auriginal Mining Corp. Geomega is currently transitioning from a pure research and development entity to a technology licensing and demonstration operator.
