Noble Plains Uranium Corp. released preliminary results from an induced polarization (IP) geophysical survey at its Duck Creek property in Wyoming. The survey successfully validated the IP method on known shallow mineralization in the Wasatch Formation. A significant IP anomaly was detected at approximately 200 meters depth, interpreted as a potential redox front in the previously untested Fort Union Formation.
The company plans to use this low-cost targeting tool to run multiple IP lines along the 5.25-mile property length to guide future drill testing. The current NI 43-101 resource (6.36 million lbs U3O8) is entirely within the shallower Wasatch Formation.
