Copper Giant Intersects 771 Metres of 0.54% CuEq* (0.33% Cu and 0.039% Mo) and Extends Cu-Mo Mineralization to the Southeast and at Depth.

Copper Giant Resources Corp. (CGNT) has reported significant infill drilling results from its Mocoa copper-molybdenum porphyry project in Colombia, highlighting extended mineralization at depth and high-grade continuity. The results, which validate the current resource model ahead of the upcoming Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA), demonstrate improved grade with depth due to potassic alteration.

Hole MD-068, a directional daughter hole kicked off at 145.30m from mother hole MD-067, intersected a near-surface high-grade zone of 157.29m at 0.69% CuEq (0.44% Cu, 0.05% Mo) from 145.30m. This interval includes 105.16m at 0.80% CuEq (0.47% Cu, 0.06% Mo) from 195.43m. The hole also encountered a deeper interval of 154.48m at 0.54% CuEq (0.32% Cu, 0.04% Mo) from 526.45m, including 67.09m at 0.60% CuEq (0.37% Cu, 0.04% Mo) from 611.84m. Hole MD-068 ended at 689.63m while still in mineralization. Alteration transitions from sericite-rich in the outer zone to potassic in the core below approximately 300m, correlating with increased veining and grade.

Hole MD-070, another directional daughter hole kicked off at 211.40m from mother hole MD-064, intersected 770.90m of continuous mineralization at 0.54% CuEq (0.33% Cu, 0.04% Mo) from 211.40m. This main interval includes:

  • 697.54m at 0.56% CuEq (0.35% Cu, 0.04% Mo) from 211.40m
  • 313.16m at 0.71% CuEq (0.46% Cu, 0.05% Mo) from 233.40m
  • 214.13m at 0.77% CuEq (0.51% Cu, 0.05% Mo) from 284.43m
  • 102.41m at 0.87% CuEq (0.54% Cu, 0.06% Mo) from 396.15m

Additionally, MD-070 returned an interval of 52.81m at 0.83% CuEq (0.60% Cu, 0.04% Mo) from 782.07m in hydrothermal breccia. These grades locally exceed the current MRE block model, confirming model accuracy.

Mother hole MD-067 returned 145.30m at 0.15% CuEq (0.12% Cu, 0.005% Mo) from surface, including 28.30m at 0.42% CuEq (0.38% Cu, 0.01% Mo) from 117.00m in the supergene blanket. Assays for the remainder of the hole to 756m are pending.

The directional drilling strategy utilizes single pads to reduce mobilization costs and surface disturbance, with the MD-064 platform producing approximately 6,000m in three directions. MD-068 and MD-070 are part of an infill program designed to convert Inferred to Indicated resources ahead of the PEA. The company remains on track to deliver the PEA in Q4 2026.

Edwin Naranjo Sierra, Vice-President of Exploration, commented on the results: "MD-068 is the hole I would look at twice. It sits below the vertical holes Ingeominas drilled decades ago, and it carries better grade at depth than the drilling above it. Those holes stopped where the technology of the day stopped, not where the system stopped. MD-070 does the other half of the job: it came in slightly above the grade model, which tells us the model behind the upcoming PEA is behaving."

Copper Giant Resources Corp. also entered into a media and marketing agreement with BTV for up to C$400,000 in services, payable C$320,000 in cash.

Technical notes indicate that CuEq (%) is calculated as Cu (%) + 5.278 × Mo (%), using copper at US$4.00/lb, molybdenum at US$20.00/lb, 90% copper recovery, and 95% molybdenum recovery. Drilled widths are interpreted to be very close to true widths. Pit-constrained Mineral Resources are reported at a cutoff of 0.25% CuEq*. Samples were prepared by ActLabs in Medellin, Colombia, and analyzed in Guadalajara, Mexico, using 4-Acid digest Atomic Absorption (AA) for Cu/Au/Ag/Mo/Zn/Pb and ICP-MS for 57 elements. Over-limit copper was analyzed via 8-TD-AA. QA/QC protocols included standards, blanks, and duplicates, with no material issues identified.
