1911 Gold Reports High-Grade Intercepts from the SAM W Target at True North of 11.31 g/t Au over 1.70 m and 6.79 g/t Au over 2.40 m
1911’s SAM W gap-fill confirms continuity with modest gram-metres, falling short of prior anchor results.

1911 Gold Corporation (AUMB) has released assay results from an eight-hole, 2,980-meter surface diamond drill program targeting the San Antonio West (SAM W) area of its True North Gold Project in Manitoba. Of the eight holes drilled, one (TN-26-097A) was abandoned at 25.5 meters, while the remaining seven reached their target depths.
The company highlighted intercepts reported above a 2.25 g/t Au cut-off, allowing for a maximum of 2.50 meters of internal dilution. The reported results include:
- TN-26-073: 11.31 g/t Au over 1.70 m at 391.10 m downhole, including 16.20 g/t Au over 0.80 m.
- TN-26-089: 5.72 g/t Au over 3.00 m at 327.40 m downhole, including 9.65 g/t Au over 1.10 m.
- TN-26-082: 6.79 g/t Au over 2.40 m at 204.40 m downhole, including 7.98 g/t Au over 1.40 m.
- TN-26-097: 11.80 g/t Au over 0.50 m at 361.40 m downhole.
- TN-26-092: 3.29 g/t Au over 1.00 m at 390.70 m downhole.
According to the release, the drilling confirmed continuity within a roughly 200 m by 200 m gap area. This work has extended the known strike of SAM W to over 500 m and its down-plunge depth to 600 m, with the target remaining open at depth. The current drilling program is intended to support a maiden resource estimate for the SAM W, SAM SE, and Shore targets, with a global resource update expected in Q4 2026.
1911 Gold Corporation (AUMB) released drill results that support a maiden resource estimate for the SAM W, SAM SE, and Shore targets. These findings do not, on their own, transform the current resource base or the Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA). The company, an advanced developer and pre-revenue explorer with a market capitalization near C$293 million, sees its equity driven by restart optionality, the PEA, metallurgical results, and financing potential rather than any single narrow-vein intercept.
The stock had already rebounded from approximately C$0.58 in late July to C$0.82 by 24 August 2026, partly on prior positive news, meaning the current release is not entering a flat expectation environment. The results are viewed as routine positive because they de-risk the SAM W target and advance the Q4 global resource update.
1911 Gold Corporation (AUMB) is an advanced gold explorer and developer focused on its 100%-owned True North Gold Project, located in Manitoba’s Archean Rice Lake greenstone belt. The company controls approximately 62,000 hectares and maintains existing mine, mill, shaft, and tailings infrastructure.
Reported mineral resources include: - True North: Indicated 3.516 Mt at 4.41 g/t Au for 499,000 oz; Inferred 5.490 Mt at 3.65 g/t Au for 644,000 oz. - Ogama-Rockland: Inferred 3.314 Mt at 6.68 g/t Au for 712,000 oz.
Key assets and targets include True North, SAM W, SAM SE, Shore, Baker, Ogama-Rockland, and regional Rice Lake targets. The company is targeting test mining in 2026 and a possible 2027 restart, though no production decision has been made. While the Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) reported strong headline economics, a July 2026 disclosure correction noted that the PEA was not supported by a compliant NI 43-101 technical report at that time and retracted overstated certainty.
