Auriginal Targets October Update to Roger NI 43-101 Mineral Resource Estimate
Auriginal targets an October mineral resource estimate update as phase two drilling expands the footprint of the Roger porphyry deposit.

Auriginal Mining Corp. announced plans to update the 2018 NI 43-101 Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for the Roger Project, targeting completion in October 2026. The updated MRE will utilize lower cut-off grades of 0.20 g/t and 0.15 g/t AuEq to capture additional mineralized material, reflecting higher copper and gold prices.
Phase 1 drilling has expanded the historical mineralized footprint by approximately 700 meters southwest and approximately 400 meters northeast, extending mineralization over 100 meters at depth. A fully funded $2.0 million Phase 2 definition drilling program is underway to increase drill density and test broader porphyry and VMS horizons. Assays from Phase 1 holes AUR-26-06 through AUR-26-10 remain pending.
Shareholders approved all matters at the August 6, 2026 AGM.
Auriginal Mining Corp. (AUME) announced expected exploration progress, a development that aligns with prior investor presentations and drilling updates regarding the Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) update and lower cut-offs. The company had already announced Phase 2 funding in July 2026. This news confirms the execution of the exploration plan but does not alter the fundamental risk profile or valuation drivers, representing an incremental impact consistent with prior expectations.
Auriginal Mining Corp. is a pre-revenue exploration company focused on the Roger Project in the Chibougamau mining camp, Quebec. The project features a dual-mineralization model, comprising a historical porphyry Cu-Au system and a newly interpreted gold-rich Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide (VMS) horizon. Historical 2018 MRE reported 17.5 million tonnes at 0.81 g/t AuEq.
The company is actively drilling to expand the resource and test the VMS model, utilizing downhole EM surveys to vector toward conductive targets. Additionally, the Anik joint venture with Iamgold (75% owned by Iamgold) provides additional exploration upside in the Nelligan gold camp.
