Soil Geochemistry Confirms Large Porphyry System at Copper Springs in the Arizona Copper Triangle - Coyote Copper Mines Expands Land Package by 2,000 Acres

Coyote’s soil geochemistry validates a large porphyry system and expands its land package by 2,000 acres.

Executive Summary

Coyote Copper Mines Inc. (CCMM) released Phase 1 and Phase 2 soil geochemistry results from its Copper Springs Project in Arizona on August 5, 2026. Between January and April 2026, 1,606 samples delineated a 3 km x 3 km copper anomaly exceeding 500 ppm Cu, with grades reaching up to 2,660 ppm (0.266%). The data also identified two distinct 1 km-diameter molybdenum anomalies within the Central Zone, where Mo concentrations exceeded 15 ppm and reached up to 59 ppm.

These findings validate prior geophysical "donut" anomalies reported on May 12, 2026, and support the presence of a multi-kilometer porphyry copper-molybdenum system with at-surface mineralization. This contrasts with the Resolution deposit, located adjacent to the project, which sits at a depth of approximately 1,200 meters.

The company also reported that an additional 2,000 acres were staked, bringing its total land position to approximately 16,000 acres. Phase 3 soil sampling is ongoing, with 431 of the 880 planned samples completed. Additional geophysics are planned for the northeast and southeast portions of the property.

Material Impact

Coyote Copper Mines Inc. (CCMM) released soil geochemistry results that serve as a follow-up to its May geophysical interpretation. The market was already aware that soil sampling was underway, and the results confirm the existing porphyry model rather than redefining it. CEO statements indicated that values were "much higher than we expected," adding credibility to the findings. However, the information remains incremental, as there is no resource estimate, no drill intercepts, and no new geological concept.

The company’s share price nearly doubled from late July to August 4, rising from $0.31 to $0.53. This movement suggests that some optimism may have already been priced in. The release does not alter the company’s risk profile or introduce a genuinely new market-moving element.

Company Overview

Coyote Copper Mines Inc. (TSXV:CCMM) was formed via a reverse takeover of First and Goal Capital Corp. by Copper Bullet Mines Inc., completed on April 7, 2026. The company’s flagship asset is the Copper Springs Project in Arizona’s historic “Copper Triangle,” comprised of 774 BLM claims covering approximately 16,000 acres adjacent to major operations such as Resolution and Pinto Valley. The project targets large porphyry copper-molybdenum systems with at-surface sulfide mineralization, a distinct advantage over the deep Resolution deposit. While a non-compliant historic resource exists on a portion of the oxide blanket, no NI 43-101 estimate has been established. Daniel Weir serves as CEO, and the board and management possess significant junior mining experience.
