Kilbourne Graphite Advances Towards Commercialization with Global Refractory Manufacturer

Titan secures a conditional offtake agreement with RHI Magnesita for its Kilbourne graphite project, validating the deposit despite ongoing execution risks.

Executive Summary

Titan Mining Corporation (TI) announced a conditional commercial supply agreement with RHI Magnesita for natural flake graphite from its Kilbourne Graphite Project. The deal follows successful laboratory qualification and the start of commercial-scale testing within the customer's manufacturing operations.

Initial supply volume is capped at 10% of Kilbourne's projected commercial tonnage. Expansion beyond the initial 10% is strictly contingent on successful completion of production trials.

The milestone supports Titan's strategy to advance the Kilbourne project toward a construction decision and build a vertically integrated domestic graphite supply chain. Engineering and feasibility study work continues; no definitive pricing, volume commitments, or timeline for a final offtake agreement were disclosed.

Material Impact

RHI Magnesita’s agreement serves as a validation of product quality, though it remains conditional and non-binding in its current form, with volume capped at 10% of projected commercial tonnage. The deal does not provide immediate revenue, pricing certainty, or construction de-risking, as the market has already priced in commercialization steps through prior LOIs and demonstration plant shipments.

Company Overview

Titan Mining Corporation (TI) owns Empire State Mines (ESM), a 100%-owned underground zinc operation in Gouverneur, New York, which produces zinc concentrate and has a history of record production and cost discipline. The company also holds the Kilbourne Graphite Project, an open-pit graphite deposit located less than one mile from the ESM mill. A demonstration plant was commissioned in the fourth quarter of 2025, and a feasibility study is currently underway for a 40,000 tpa commercial facility.

Additionally, Titan Mining is conducting early-stage IOCG exploration at the Parish Target, which sits within a land package exceeding 120,000 acres. The company aims to become the first end-to-end domestic natural flake graphite producer in the United States in over 70 years, leveraging existing infrastructure and federal support.
