NGEx Drills 20.50m at 17.83% CuEq and 13.50m at 11.36% CuEq at Lunahuasi

NGEx reports multiple high-grade massive sulphide intercepts extending the Mars and Saturn deposits at its Lunahuasi project in the phase 4 finale.

Executive Summary

NGEx Minerals Ltd. (NGEX) has released the final Phase 4 drill results from its Lunahuasi project in Argentina, completing all 32 holes for a total of 27,318 meters. Key intercepts, reported as core length with no true width provided, include DPDH078, which returned 95.00 meters at 4.77% CuEq from 246.50 meters, including 20.50 meters at 17.83% CuEq. This interval features Au-rich sub-intervals of 2.30 meters at 76.43 g/t Au, including 1.00 meter at 135.50 g/t Au.

DPDH075 returned 13.50 meters at 11.36% CuEq, including 2.00 meters at 43.95% CuEq, along with earlier hits of 14.00 meters at 5.92% CuEq and 6.00 meters at 10.60% CuEq. DPDH073 intersected 546.30 meters at 1.19% CuEq, including 34.00 meters at 4.68% CuEq and 4.30 meters at 9.26% CuEq, extending the system 120 meters to the south. Additionally, DPDH076 returned 10.70 meters at 6.85% CuEq, stepping 64 meters southwest of the Mars zone.

The Mars zone is interpreted as a gold-rich massive sulphide vein with a strike of at least 200 meters and a dip of at least 250 meters. The Saturn and Jupiter zones continue to expand, and a porphyry system has been confirmed at depth.

Material Impact

NGEx Minerals Ltd. (NGEX), an advanced explorer with a market capitalization of approximately C$5.5 billion and a substantial treasury, has released the final batch of Phase 4 results. The company has been rolling out results throughout the year, with the market already absorbing a series of high-grade hits, including July 8’s 19 meters at 25.84% CuEq and May 13’s 17.3 meters at 207 g/t Au. Today’s release confirms that the Mars and Saturn zones continue to deliver bonanza-grade massive sulphide pods.

The new hole DPDH078’s 365% m intercept is among the best of the program and extends the Mars zone further. While not a true outlier, it serves as an incremental but very positive data point. Given the stock’s recent recovery from approximately $22 to $25, the market may have partially anticipated strong closing results. Nevertheless, the sheer grade and width are materially positive for the eventual resource definition.

As a pre-resource explorer, any high-grade intercept that expands the known footprint and proves continuity is material. The results demonstrate genuine expansion of the high-grade cores and increase confidence that Lunahuasi hosts multiple large, rich massive sulphide lenses. While not a game-changing first discovery, the data adds significant tonnage potential.
