Conquest Resources Identifies Multiple Gold-In-Till Geochemical Anomalies at the Valimaki Gold Project, Finland
Conquest advances drill targeting at Finland’s Valimaki project after sampling confirmed gold anomalies pending till sampling verification.

Conquest Resources Limited announced 2026 glacial till and prospecting rock sampling results at its Valimaki Gold Project in Finland. The till sampling program covered 853 samples, comprising 795 field samples and 58 QA/QC samples. The highest gold-in-till value reached 499.9 ppb Au, with multiple samples exceeding 100 ppb Au.
Rock sampling returned 119 samples, with a highest value of 2.82 g/t Au. Two samples exceeded 1 g/t Au, found in strongly silicified and sulphide-bearing mica gneiss and sheared mafic/gabbroic rock. Additionally, a UAV magnetic survey covered approximately 86 km² across two blocks to delineate structural and lithological contacts. QA/QC protocols were clean for both till and rock programs, strengthening the exploration framework for future drill targeting.
Conquest Resources Limited (CQR) released an incremental update following its spring 2026 field program, confirming the presence of gold-in-till anomalies and rock samples. This work validates the company’s orogenic gold model and helps refine future drill targets. The release did not include new drill intercepts, resource estimates, permitting milestones, or financing announcements, underscoring that the company remains in the early exploration stage with no path to production.
Financially, the update carries zero immediate impact. While operating costs remain low, the company continues to burn cash on exploration activities without generating revenue. The market likely priced in this incremental geochemical work when the March and May programs were announced, with the stock’s recent consolidation reflecting the absence of near-term catalysts.
Conquest Resources Limited is a Canadian junior exploration company with assets in Ontario and Finland. The Belfast-Teck Mag property in Ontario covers 350 km² in the Southern Abitibi Greenstone Belt, targeting magmatic Ni-Cu-PGE, VMS copper, and IOCG deposits. Phase 1 drilling is currently underway to test geophysical targets.
In Finland, the Valimaki Gold Project comprises a 23,197 ha exploration reservation hosting orogenic gold mineralization, historic high-grade boulders, and prior drilling. The project is currently in the target definition phase. Other assets include the Alexander Gold Project in Red Lake, the Smith Lake Gold Project in Renabie, and the Lake Nipigon Basin Project. The company is entirely in the exploration stage with no revenue, no reserves, and no production history.
