The project recently secured a 70 MW hydroelectric power allocation in June 2026 and submitted its Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) in June 2025. Troilus is currently advancing detailed engineering and project financing, targeting a fully funded construction decision. A Feasibility Study released in May 2024 outlined parameters for a 22-year mine life featuring a 50,000-tonnes-per-day open-pit operation. The production profile includes an average annual output of approximately 303,000 AuEq ounces, equivalent to 135.4 million lbs CuEq, with peak production reaching 536,400 AuEq ounces.
The project is expected to generate approximately 1,000 construction jobs and 680 permanent operational jobs, alongside multi-decade tax revenues for Quebec. The facility will produce doré on-site and ship precious metal-rich copper concentrate to international markets.
