Freegold Intersects 1.48 g/t Au over 176.8mincluding 3.09 g/t over 45.8 m as it advances Golden Summit Towards PFS
Freegold’s Golden Summit project confirms bulk-tonnage continuity through long infill intercepts, despite market fatigue.

Freegold Ventures Limited (FVL) reported six active infill drilling rigs at its Golden Summit project in Alaska, a step forward in the company’s push toward a 2027 Preliminary Feasibility Study (PFS).
In the Dolphin area, hole GS2622 returned 176.8 m @ 1.48 g/t Au from 389.2 m, including 45.8 m @ 3.09 g/t Au and 21.6 m @ 1.02 g/t Au. Other Dolphin holes reported the following intercepts: * 70.8 m @ 1.33 g/t * 33.7 m @ 1.59 g/t * 23.4 m @ 2.25 g/t
Drilling in the Cleary area identified narrow high-grade intervals, including 2.2 m @ 25.31 g/t, 2.1 m @ 19.62 g/t, and 4.6 m @ 7.16 g/t, alongside broader low-grade envelopes. At the WOW zone, results included 15.0 m @ 0.75 g/t (including 9.4 m @ 3.13 g/t) and 17.7 m @ 1.00 g/t.
The company’s resource estimate remains unchanged, with Indicated resources at 17.2 moz @ 1.24 g/t and Inferred resources at 11.9 moz @ 1.04 g/t, based on a 0.5 g/t cut-off and a gold price of $2,490/oz.
Freegold Ventures Limited (FVL) is an explorer and developer holding a 17 moz indicated resource, with this latest hole serving as a purely infill drill. The result tightens the spacing and may support a larger proportion of indicated tonnes in the eventual Preliminary Feasibility Study (PFS). The grade is above the resource average and will assist in starter-pit definition, though the market has already seen many such hits. The stock has been in a downtrend since late January, indicating that the market is not rewarding incremental news. Given the stage, this is a typical infill result.
Freegold Ventures Limited is a TSX-listed explorer developing the Golden Summit project, located approximately 6 km from Kinross’s Fort Knox mine in Alaska. The project hosts a bulk-tonnage gold resource defined over a 2 km × 1.5 km footprint within a larger 13 km × 6 km land package. The resource includes 17.2 moz Indicated at 1.24 g/t and 11.9 moz Inferred at 1.04 g/t, based on a 0.5 g/t cut-off and $2,490/oz Au.
The company has outlined 2026 plans that include approximately 50,000 m of drilling using six rigs, metallurgical optimization testing via GlassLock, POX, and BIOX methods, and a Preliminary Feasibility Study (PFS) targeted for early 2027. Major shareholder Eric Sprott holds approximately 158 million shares following his participation in a $10 million tranche of a $50 million financing in January 2026 at $1.30 per share. The company currently has no revenue, and its share count post-financing stands at approximately 567 million.
