Sky Gold samples up to 48.56 g/t Au at Evening Star

Sky’s Evening Star grab samples returned 48.56 g/t Au while drill intersections remain low-grade.

Executive Summary

Sky Gold Corp. (SKYG) has released assay results from drill core, rock, vein, and soil sampling at its 100%-owned Evening Star project, located in Nevada's Walker Lane gold trend. The samples were analyzed using Chrysos PhotonAssay technology and ICP-MS for ultratrace elements.

At the High Life target, drill holes ES-26-01 and ES-26-02 intersected silicification and anomalous gold up to 44 ppb and 84 ppb, respectively, along with minor secondary copper. This work identified a new 140-metre northwestern gold trend.

Grab sampling at the Good Hope target returned up to 48.56 g/t Au, marking the highest value on the property to date, although the company notes that grab samples are selective and not representative of bulk mineralization.

At the CRD Hill target, drill hole ES-26-03 missed the historic manto trend. Surface sampling returned 2.26% copper and elevated bismuth and zinc.

The first drill hole at the Gold Bug target into the historic mine intersected a 12-metre zone of anomalous gold, silver, and copper, though grades were low, reaching up to 0.219 g/t Au over 1.5m. Surface sampling near the entrance returned 5.14 g/t Au and elevated base metals.

Soil sampling at the Golden Bomber target defined a 300-metre northwestern gold-copper-lead-silver trend. Surface sampling returned 14.98 g/t Au and 9.23 g/t Au. This area remains undrilled.

Material Impact

Sky Gold Corp. (SKYG) released its July 14 exploration update, a direct follow-up to the July 9 announcement that confirms the same dataset. The historical progression of the project follows a logical exploration sequence: geophysical surveys were conducted in January 2026, followed by drilling mobilization in April 2026, completion in May 2026, and the release of assay results in July 2026.

The results are consistent with early-stage exploration. While grab samples at the Good Hope and Golden Bomber prospects show high-grade surface anomalies, the actual drill intersections remain low-grade and anomalous, falling within the ppb range. The CRD Hill hole missed its target, and the drill intersection at the Gold Bug historic mine was weak. These findings indicate that the porphyry and CRD systems are either deeper, structurally complex, or require additional drilling to define. This news does not alter the project's economic potential or resource status, serving as an expected, incremental exploration update.

Company Overview

Sky Gold Corp. (SKYG) is a pre-revenue junior explorer focused on its 100%-owned Evening Star property in Nevada's Walker Lane gold trend. The company is in the exploration phase, relying on integrated geophysical, geochemical, and drilling programs to delineate a potential Cu-Au deposit.

Flagship project targets include: - High Life: Buried copper-gold porphyry system identified via magnetic, IP, and gravity anomalies. - Tower Gold: High-grade epithermal vein corridor in granitic rocks. - Golden Bomber: Low-sulphidation epithermal vein system with historic high-grade surface sampling. - Gold Bug: Historic mine area with potential carbonate replacement deposit (CRD) and skarn mineralization.
