ARRAS MINERALS ANNOUNCES PLAN TO INCREASE DIAMOND DRILLING BY 100% TO 40,000 METRES FOR 2026 & PROVIDES EXPLORATION UPDATE
Arras doubles its drill program to 40,000 metres following a $25 million equity raise to advance its projects.

Arras Minerals Corp. is doubling its 2026 diamond drilling program at the Elemes Project in Kazakhstan, increasing the scope from 30,000m to 40,000m. The expanded program is fully funded by the $25 million Bought Deal financing that closed on July 7, 2026.
Four drill rigs are currently active on site, with 27 holes completed and over 18,000m drilled to date. Assay results are experiencing delays due to high volumes at preparation and assay laboratories, but are expected in the coming weeks.
Exploration focus remains on the Berezski Trend (North, Central, East) and new targets including the Aimandai Trend and K-Ozek epithermal target. Management cites the financing as underpinning a strong financial position to advance exploration through 2027.
Arras Minerals Corp. (ARK) announced the expansion of its drilling program to 40,000 meters, a move that directly executes the capital raise announced two days prior. The doubling of the drill program was explicitly outlined in prior management guidance and aligns with the use of proceeds from the $25 million financing. This expansion confirms management's confidence in the Berezski Trend's potential and provides the necessary capital runway to complete the exploration program by year-end.
The announcement is expected and incremental, serving only to accelerate the existing exploration timeline rather than introducing a new discovery, a strategic partner, or a change in project economics. While assay delays present a minor operational hurdle that may temporarily slow decision-making, they do not alter the strategic direction or capital position. The market has already priced in the financing, and the stock is consolidating below its recent high, indicating the news is viewed as routine execution rather than a catalyst.
Arras Minerals Corp. (ARK) is a Canadian exploration and development company focused on copper-gold assets in northeastern Kazakhstan. Its flagship asset is the Elemes Project, which comprises two exploration licenses covering 531 square kilometers, located 13 km southwest of Ekibastuz. The project’s geology features interbedded volcanic and sedimentary rocks intruded by diorite and monzodiorite porphyries. The Berezski Trend spans over 8.8 km and hosts multiple porphyry centers.
Infrastructure access is strong, with paved highways, 1,100 kVA power lines, heavy rail, and utilities available within a 15 km radius. The company is currently in the generative exploration stage, and no mineral resources have been defined.
