North Peak Secures On-Site Water Supply and Installs Pump, Clearing the Way for Diamond Drilling of the Prospect Mountain Sulphide Anomaly
North Peak secured water infrastructure to enable deep sulphide drilling at its Prospect Mountain project.

North Peak Resources Ltd. (NPR) has installed a water supply pump at its 100%-owned Prospect Mountain Mine Complex in Nevada. The water source is secured through a lease with Solarljos, LLC, an entity controlled by the Erickson family, which holds more than 10% of the company and is a related party. The agreement permits the extraction of approximately 4 million gallons annually, with provisions to increase volumes for future programs. This infrastructure eliminates the company’s reliance on trucking water from Eureka, thereby reducing costs and logistical delays.
The company is currently refining its targeting for an upcoming diamond core drill program designed to test a 2 km sulphide anomaly. This initiative utilizes magnetotelluric (MT), gravity, and induced polarization (IP) geophysics. The drill program will employ RC pre-collars for cost efficiency before transitioning to diamond core drilling for deeper sulphide targets and historic underground workings.
North Peak Resources Ltd. (NPR) has secured on-site water, a critical logistical step for its planned 2026 drilling campaign. This development removes a significant cost hurdle and directly enables the diamond drilling of the deep sulphide anomaly, confirming execution progress on previously announced exploration plans. The transaction is a related-party arrangement, consistent with the company’s history of involvement from the Erickson family, who maintain board representation. The announcement does not introduce new geological discoveries or financial results.
North Peak Resources Ltd. (NPR) is a pre-revenue gold exploration and development company focused on the Prospect Mountain Mine Complex in Eureka, Nevada. The property is 100% owned and holds a permit for a 1,000 tonnes-per-day underground mine. The flagship project sits in the historic Eureka mining camp, which has produced over 3.1 million ounces of gold.
The company is executing a multi-target exploration program focusing on expanding near-surface oxide gold mineralization at Wabash/Williams, testing deep sulphide anomalies at Lower PME, and evaluating historic waste dumps for potential toll leaching. Management emphasizes leveraging existing infrastructure, underground permits, and a senior team with prior large-scale gold project experience.
