Aventis, Standard Uranium plan gravity survey at Corvo

AVE · Price

Executive Summary

  • Aventis Energy Inc. reports strong radioactivity and new uranium showings from its July 2025 exploration program at the Corvo uranium project, which is under a three-year earn-in option agreement with Standard Uranium Ltd.
  • The program identified off-scale radioactivity (>65,535 cps) at the historical Manhattan showing and 112 further occurrences of highly anomalous radioactivity up to 13,500 cps across the project.
  • Future exploration plans include a high-resolution ground gravity survey in Q4 2025 and an inaugural diamond drill program scheduled for Q1 2026 to test newly refined targets.

Key Details

  • Radioactivity Measurements:
    • Off-scale radioactivity (>65,535 counts per second [cps]) measured at surface at the historical Manhattan showing.
    • 112 additional occurrences of highly anomalous radioactivity recorded, with readings up to 13,500 cps.
    • Six measurements exceeded 10,000 cps at surface.
    • 112 hand-held scintillometer readings of anomalous radioactivity (>300 cps) were recorded.
  • Sample Results:
    • 30 outcrop and boulder grab samples submitted for whole-rock, uranium, and rare earth element (REE) geochemical analysis.
    • Manhattan showing assays: 1.19 to 5.98 per cent U3O8.
    • SMDI showing 2052 assays: 0.137 per cent U3O8 and 2,300 parts per million (ppm) thorium (Th).
    • Surface sample JBWLR011 returned 1,420 ppm uranium (U).
  • Geological Findings:
    • Mapping confirmed deformed and hydrothermally altered basement lithologies, including metasedimentary, calc-silicate, and granitic rocks.
    • Uranium mineralization present along an 800-metre strike length in historical drill holes TL-79-3 (0.057 per cent U3O8 over 3.5 m) to TL-79-5 (0.065 per cent U3O8 over 0.1 m).
  • Geophysical Surveys:
    • Airborne TDEM and magnetic survey completed earlier in 2025 by Axiom Exploration Group Ltd. and New Resolution Geophysics.
    • Survey covered ~1,380 line kilometres with 100 m traverse spacing and 1,000 m tie-line spacing.
    • Results outlined several kilometres of conductive anomalies and magnetic features, enhancing resolution of >29 km of conductive trends.
  • Future Plans:
    • High-resolution ground gravity survey planned for Q4 2025 to identify density anomalies and hydrothermal alteration halos.
    • Diamond drill program planned for Q1 2026 to test targets developed through 2025 programs.

Notable Quotes

  • "We are proud to announce preliminary results from our 2025 exploration program at the Corvo project. With the identification of strong radioactivity at the Manhattan showing and favourable results from geological mapping along key trends at the project, we are well positioned to complete a near-term ground gravity survey." — Michael Mulberry, CEO
