Tower Makes Good Progress Infilling Gaps Between Gold Zones at Rabbit North

TWR · Price

Tower Resources Ltd. (TWR) has reported continued drilling progress at its Rabbit North property in British Columbia, successfully intersecting wide pyritized zones consistent with its orogenic gold discoveries. The company’s current 2,000–3,000 meter drilling program is focused on infill drilling at 50-meter spacing to bridge the 400-meter untested gap between the Thunder North and Blue Sky gold zones.

Geological modeling indicates a coherent shear deformation and hydrothermal alteration trend across the gap. The area is underlain by Nicola volcaniclastic rocks, with the gold trend characterized by shear deformation, quartz-feldspar porphyry (QFP) dyke injection, hydrothermal bleaching, and quartz-sericite-pyrite (QSP) alteration. The Thunder-Blue Sky gold trend appears more coherent in current drill holes than in the eastern Blue Sky discovery area, where volcanic rocks are intruded by the dioritic Durand Stock.

In addition to the primary infill objectives, the company plans to test a western extension of the Thunder zone, specifically targeting the fault-offset western tip of Thunder North. The planned extension of December's unfinished Hole 073 was reconsidered due to the drill's inability to re-enter the hole; consequently, a replacement hole has been added 50 meters to the east.
