Gold Terra Announces 6.61 g/t Gold over 7.35 Metres Including 31.6 g/t Gold over 1.1 Metres on the Campbell Shear Zone 103N Extension, Con Mine, Yellowknife, NWT

Gold Terra reported 6.61 g/t over 7.35 m in the 103N gap-fill, though a sub-cutoff twin hole diluted the overall intercept.

Executive Summary

Gold Terra Resource Corp. (YGT) has released assay results from two drill holes at Zone 103N on its Con Mine Option (CMO) property in Yellowknife. The company describes the zone as the northern extension of the Campbell Shear, which was historically developed by Miramar from the 3100 level with limited drilling.

The results include the following intercepts:

  • Hole GTCM26-061 (trunk hole): 12.9 m at 1.11 g/t Au from 843.5 m to 856.4 m, including 1.6 m at 4.04 g/t from 846.4 m to 848.0 m.
  • Hole GTCM26-061A (wedge offset from GTCM26-061): 7.35 m at 6.61 g/t Au from 843.5 m to 850.85 m, including 1.1 m at 31.6 g/t from 848.1 m to 849.2 m.

Both holes were drilled from the same collar at coordinates 636278E / 6926767N, with an azimuth of 65.9° and a dip of −76°. The mineralized intercepts are located approximately 805 m below surface. Gold Terra states that the interval in hole 061 sits in a gap between blocks in the June 2026 Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) by SLR, and that both intersections lie in an area previously treated as waste.

The June 2026 Technical Report carries an initial Underground Inferred resource at Zone 103N of 5,083,000 t at 3.64 g/t Au for 595,000 oz, based on a 2.2 g/t cut-off as disclosed in the September 17, 2026 release. Drilling continues and assays are pending for other completed holes. Gold Terra holds an option to acquire 100% of the CMO from a Newmont subsidiary, valid to November 21, 2027.

Not disclosed in this release are the cut-off grade applied to the intercepts, true width, capping or top-cut, assay laboratory, sample preparation method, and the QA/QC protocol including standards, blanks, and duplicates.

Material Impact

Gold Terra Resource Corp. (YGT) has released drill results from its explorer-stage property, a pre-production asset with a going-concern flag and an approximate C$88 million equity valuation. The latest drilling at Zone 103N identified a gap between block-model polygons containing material above the 3.64 g/t resource grade over approximately 7 meters, as well as sub-cut-off material within the same structure. These findings support the existing Inferred estimate and may add a modest block, but they do not extend the 1.6 km trend, open a new zone or depth horizon, or alter the Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) economics in any material way. Against a total Inferred resource of 5.08 million tonnes containing 595,000 ounces of gold, the single 7-meter intercept represents a minor addition given the lack of stated tonnage potential.

The company’s anchor result on this target remains the resource estimate published on May 15, 2026, which defined 595,000 ounces at 3.64 g/t. Drilling at 103N began on August 7, 2026. The equity has not been priced for a repeat of that discovery; shares peaked at C$0.28 in late January 2026, dipped to C$0.20 in the spring, and have since drifted to C$0.17, near the bottom of their one-year range and roughly 40% below the high. The current results offer a positive confirmation rather than a disappointment, particularly with intercept 061A returning 6.61 g/t over 7.35 meters against the 3.64 g/t resource grade, although intercept 061 serves as a partial offset.

Despite the positive confirmation, the upside is limited because the result is not materially better in grade-and-width substance than previous demonstrations on the property. Historical intersections at Yellorex, including 8.20 g/t over 20.35 meters and 9.53 g/t over 11.1 meters, remain substantially stronger. Furthermore, the new data sits within an already-published resource rather than opening a new dimension.

Valuation context indicates that at the current market capitalization, the equity carries approximately C$45–50 per total resource ounce across roughly 1.8–1.9 million ounces of gold, dominated by Inferred material. This includes 927,000 ounces of low-grade Sam Otto Inferred material at 1.26 g/t. The company held C$247,393 in cash as of June 30, 2026, prior to a C$10.08 million raise in July and August. Additionally, an C$8.0 million option closing payment and C$16 million of assumed reclamation liabilities are due by November 21, 2027. In this context, incremental confirmation of already-counted ounces does not significantly impact the valuation.
