NEW PACIFIC REPORTS FINANCIAL RESULTS FOR THE THREE MONTHS ENDED SEPTEMBER 30, 2026
New Pacific confirms Carangas PEA economics while awaiting Bolivian AMC ratification for the project.

New Pacific Metals Corp. (NUAG) reported a net loss of $1.42 million, or $0.01 per share, for the first quarter of fiscal 2027, which ended on September 30, 2026. The company attributed the loss to operating expenses and foreign exchange losses. As of the end of the quarter, working capital stood at $35.94 million.
The company confirmed the signing of Administrative Mining Contracts (AMCs) for its Carangas Silver-Gold Project in Bolivia. The agreements cover 39 km² and carry a 30-year fixed term, pending ratification by the Plurinational Legislative Assembly.
New Pacific Metals also reiterated the updated Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) for the Carangas project. The assessment highlights a post-tax net present value (NPV) of $2.65 billion, an internal rate of return (IRR) of 35.9%, and initial capital costs of $644.5 million.
Project expenditure balances remain elevated at $122.07 million. Of this total, $93.22 million is capitalized at Silver Sand and $23.80 million is capitalized at Carangas.
New Pacific Metals Corp. (NUAG) released its quarterly report, confirming the company’s financial stability and reiterating the economics of the Carangas Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) alongside the status of the Antofagasta Mining Contracts (AMC) signing. The company reported operating expenses of $1.44 million and a manageable net loss, figures that align with the prior-period context and the company's pre-revenue development stage.
The update serves as a direct follow-up to the July 2026 PEA release and the August 2026 AMC signing announcement. As the market was already fully aware of these milestones, the current release functions to confirm progress rather than introduce new catalysts. The routine nature of the financial update, combined with the confirmation of previously disclosed project milestones, maintains the existing valuation framework without altering the development timeline or introducing unexpected surprises.
