Canadian Gold Resources Ltd. Announces Commencement of Bulk Sampling Program at Lac Arsenault
Canadian will conduct 1,000-tonne bulk sampling at Lac Arsenault to refine vein-grade data.

Canadian Gold Resources Ltd. announced the commencement of a revised bulk sampling program at its Lac Arsenault property in Quebec, scheduled to begin October 26, 2026. The scope of the bulk sampling has been reduced from a previously announced 5,000 tonnes to an anticipated range of 500 to 1,000 tonnes.
The reduction follows additional geological evaluation and a review of recent drilling assay results, allowing for more selective extraction of mineralized material. The program is expected to last two to three weeks, with material crushed in the New Richmond area and assayed to evaluate grade and characteristics to guide future exploration steps.
Canadian Gold Resources Ltd. (CAN) released a routine operational update that aligns with its previously disclosed 2026 exploration program. The company has reduced the bulk sampling volume from 5,000 to 500-1,000 tonnes, a tactical shift toward higher-grade or more representative vein material based on recent drill assays. While this reduction may limit the statistical robustness of the bulk sample, it serves to de-risk the project and refine the geological model.
The announcement does not introduce fundamentally new catalysts or unexpected developments, serving as an expected follow-up to the permitting and planning phases discussed in June and September 2026. The impact on the stock price is likely neutral, as the update confirms operational progress but features a scaled-back scope that may temper near-term enthusiasm.
Canadian Gold Resources Ltd. is a junior exploration company focused on gold, silver, and antimony projects in Quebec's Gaspé Peninsula. Its flagship Lac Arsenault project is a high-grade epithermal gold-silver-polymetallic vein system located along the Grand Pabos Fault. Historic pre-NI 43-101 estimates for the site cited 40,000t @ 15.43 g/t Au in 1975 and 199,580t @ 9.59 g/t Au in 1996.
The company’s portfolio also includes the Robidoux property, which features vein-type gold, and VG Boulder, which contains gold-antimony. The total land position was expanded to approximately 29,225 hectares in September 2026. Currently in the exploration stage, the company is building a modern NI 43-101 compliant database through systematic drilling and bulk sampling.
