Aeonian Reports Mineralogical Results Supporting Revett-Style Copper-Silver Model at Koocanusa
Aeonian’s mineralogical update confirms its geological model while highlighting low grades and untested feeder zones at its project.

Aeonian Resources Corp. (ALTN) released mineralogical and geochemical results from the Jake Target at its 100%-owned Koocanusa Copper-Silver Project in British Columbia. Automated mineralogy using QEMSCAN identified relict chalcopyrite and fine silver sulphides within oxidized drill core, supporting a Revett-style sediment-hosted copper-silver exploration model.
A geochemical review of 943 drill-core analyses highlights a ~90-metre prospective stratigraphic interval with localized copper enrichment near reduced siltstone, along with silver, mercury, barium, and manganese vectors. The data prioritizes untested ground west of the Jake target, specifically near the interpreted Teepee Creek Fault feeder area, which remains untested by drilling.
Five drill holes (KOO26-01 through KOO26-05) are detailed, with end-of-hole depths ranging from 153m to 342m. Management stated that while Jake returned low copper grades, the results successfully confirmed the minerals, alteration, and geochemical patterns consistent with the Revett-style model, enabling the application of this knowledge to untested feeder zones.
Aeonian Resources Corp. (ALTN) released a technical follow-up to its August 6, 2026 final drill results and the September 10, 2026 geological model update. The release provides incremental validation of the geological model but does not introduce new high-grade intercepts, resource estimates, or economic drilling results. The emphasis on low grades and the need to test untested feeder zones reinforces that the company remains in the early calibration phase. The market has already priced in the preliminary nature of the inaugural drill program; this update is expected and does not alter the fundamental risk/reward profile.
Aeonian Resources Corp. (ALTN) is a pre-revenue mineral exploration company focused on the Koocanusa Copper-Silver Project in southeastern British Columbia. The project covers approximately 412 km² within the Proterozoic Purcell Basin, targeting sediment-hosted copper-silver mineralization analogous to the Revett Formation in Montana. The exploration model focuses on stratigraphic corridors, structural traps such as folds and faults, and geophysical anomalies including IP chargeability and magnetic highs.
The project is in the early exploration stage with no formal mineral resources or reserves defined. Infrastructure includes year-round road access, proximity to Cranbrook for services, and a 3-year exploration permit allowing up to 200 drill sites.
