Goldstorm Metals Completes 2026 Exploration Program and Provides Initial Results from Rock Sampling at the Crown Property, located in British Columbia's Golden Triangle
Goldstorm completes Crown drilling with surface sampling highlights while core assays stall.

Goldstorm Metals Corp. announced the completion of its 2026 diamond drilling program on the 100%-owned Crown property in British Columbia's Golden Triangle. The program consisted of 7 holes totaling 4,155.5 meters, targeting the Copernicus copper-gold-silver geochemical trend and an induced polarization (IP) chargeability anomaly.
Initial results from 310 of 526 reconnaissance rock samples were released, highlighting high-grade gold-silver structures and polymetallic zones. Key surface sampling highlights include up to 155.76 g/t Au and 84.4 g/t Ag on the High North Claim, up to 40.42 g/t Au at Delta West, and polymetallic values up to 409.0 g/t Ag, 8.02% Cu, and 3.71 g/t Au at Mackie West.
Drill core assay results remain pending due to laboratory capacity constraints, with management expecting results within 3-4 weeks. Management plans to use the surface sampling data to construct a drill platform for the 2027 program.
Goldstorm Metals Corp. (GSTM) has completed its 2026 drilling program, aligning with previously announced plans to test the Copernicus and Delta West targets. The total drilled depth of 4,155.5m slightly exceeds the initial Phase 1 target of approximately 3,000m, indicating a thorough exploration effort.
Rock sampling results are positive and consistent with prior surface sampling programs that identified high-grade gold-silver zones. However, surface grab and chip samples are historically less reliable for resource estimation than drill core assays.
The primary market-moving catalyst remains the drill core assay results. The explicit mention of laboratory backlogs delaying these results by three to four weeks tempers the immediate impact, pushing the next major price catalyst into late November or December 2026.
The news is incremental and expected. It validates the geological model but does not provide the definitive subsurface data required to upgrade the project's status. No material price impact is anticipated until core assays are released.
Goldstorm Metals Corp. (GSTM) is a pre-revenue exploration company focused on precious and base metals in British Columbia's Golden Triangle. Its flagship asset is the Crown Property, a 100%-owned package covering approximately 16,000 hectares. The property is located 45 km from Stewart, BC, along the Treaty-KSM porphyry trend and the Brucejack-Premier precious metals trend.
Key targets include the Copernicus porphyry system, the Orion Spine, the newly discovered Delta West high-grade gold zone, and the Electrum-Fairweather-Delta (EFD) trend. The company is in the exploration stage with no reported mineral resources or reserves. Historic sampling has returned high-grade gold and ultra-high-grade silver values, but no economic studies have been completed.
