GoGold Announces 2026 Annual Production

GoGold’s Parral project cash funds the LRS build as silver production tops 1 moz while SEO optics slip 14%.

Executive Summary

GoGold Resources Inc. (GGD) released its fiscal-year-end production report for the year ended September 30, 2026, marking its fiscal Q4. The update serves as an operational review rather than an earnings release, with no revenue, cost, AISC, or margin data disclosed.

For the full year, GoGold produced 1,000,242 ounces of silver, 11,647 ounces of gold, 326 tonnes of copper, and 466 tonnes of zinc. The company’s release states a total of 1,857,966 silver-equivalent ounces (SEO) in the body text, while Table 1 lists 1,858,132 SEO. Similarly, for the quarter ended September 30, the text reports 529,719 SEO, whereas Table 2 shows 529,884 SEO.

Silver production rose 18% year-over-year to exceed one million ounces, a milestone for the company. In contrast, gold output fell 5% year-over-year from 12,289 to 11,647 ounces. Copper production declined 32% from 476 to 326 tonnes, and zinc fell 24% from 609 to 466 tonnes.

Headline SEO declined 14% year-over-year, dropping from 2,150,192 to approximately 1,858,000. GoGold attributes this decrease to the gold-to-silver ratio compressing from 90 in fiscal 2025 to 66 in fiscal 2026. The company notes that on fiscal 2025 constant ratios, production would have been 2,184,844 SEO, representing a 2% increase.

Sequential momentum showed improvement, with the quarter ended September 30 seeing an 11% rise in SEO over the June 30 quarter, moving from 477,464 to 529,719. Quarterly silver production climbed every quarter of fiscal 2026, rising from 205,104 to 230,680, then to 268,673, and finally to 295,785 ounces.

Cash reserves increased to US$288 million at year-end, up from US$284 million at June 30, despite the first full quarter of construction spending at Los Ricos South. CEO Langille cited this cash position as evidence that the Parral project is self-funding its expansion.

Construction at Los Ricos South commenced in August 2026, with over 80% of detailed engineering completed prior to groundbreaking. The company announced no changes to its guidance, capital expenditure, timeline, or capital structure.

Material Impact

GoGold Resources Inc. (GGD) released production figures that confirm the trajectory outlined in its July 9 third-quarter production update and August 12 financial results. The company reported a 11% sequential production increase for the September quarter and reached a 1-million-ounce annual silver milestone. Cash reserves grew to US$288 million by year-end, an increase from the approximately US$284 million previously reported, despite the heavy spending associated with construction, which began in August.

While silver production rose, gold, copper, and zinc volumes all fell year-over-year. The reported 14% decline in silver equivalent ounces (SEO) was driven by the equivalency ratio rather than a physical production drop. The company provided no new guidance and made no changes to existing targets. Market focus remains on the execution of the Los Ratos Silver (LRS) construction project and metal price trends rather than FY2026 production figures.
