Daura Gold Commences Phase II Drill Program at Cerro Bayo & La Flora in Argentina
Daura Gold begins Phase II drilling at Argentina’s Cerro Bayo and La Flora to advance high-grade epithermal targets.

Daura Gold Corp. has initiated Phase II diamond drilling at its Cerro Bayo-La Flora projects in Argentina. The program comprises 20 holes totaling approximately 1,600 metres across four targets: La Flora, Elena, Ingrid, and Gabriela.
La Flora is being tested for the first time, targeting a high-grade vein array with historical surface samples returning up to 82.19 g/t Au and 1,239.28 g/t Ag. Follow-up drilling at Cerro Bayo targets the Elena and Ingrid zones, building on Phase I results from May 2026 that showed broad near-surface silver and higher-grade gold-silver intervals. The Gabriela target is also being tested for the first time, tracing a long, steep, NW-trending structure with historical silver samples up to 269 g/t Ag.
The program is funded by the recently closed $3.04 million non-brokered private placement on Oct 1, 2026.
Daura Gold Corp. (DGC) has commenced Phase II drilling, a routine follow-up to the Phase I results released in May 2026 and the financing closed in October 2026. This development confirms management is executing on its stated exploration plan without delay. The announcement serves as a purely operational update on a planned program, containing no new assay results or unexpected discoveries. Given the company's pre-revenue status and the incremental nature of the update, the market impact is expected to be neutral to mildly positive, primarily reinforcing the exploration timeline rather than driving immediate valuation changes.
Daura Gold Corp. is a pre-revenue junior exploration company focused on gold and silver projects in Peru and Argentina. Its flagship asset is the Antonella-Libélulas project in Ancash, Peru, which features historic drilling with upgraded intercepts, such as 22.4m @ 4.36 g/t Au, alongside high-grade surface sampling. The company is currently working on community access and permitting to launch its first drill program.
In Argentina, Daura holds an option to earn up to an 80% interest in the Cerro Bayo and La Flora projects from Latin Metals Inc. Phase I drilling at Cerro Bayo in May 2026 intersected high-grade gold and silver intervals, and Phase II drilling has now commenced.
The company also holds other assets, including the polymetallic Tayacoto project (Ag-Pb-Cu-Zn) and Yanamina, which contains a historical resource of approximately 206,800 oz Au.
