Daura Gold Closes Upsized C$3 Million Non-Brokered Private Placement
Daura raises $3m to fund drilling at its Argentina and Peru projects amid ongoing cash burn.

Daura Gold Corp. has closed an upsized non-brokered private placement of 13,218,657 units at $0.23 per unit, raising gross proceeds of approximately $3.04 million. The offering follows the company’s September 23, 2026 announcement to increase the initial target from $2.0 million to $3.0 million.
The capital is designated for advancing exploration at the Cerro Bayo and La Flora projects in Argentina, the Antonella project in Peru, and for general working capital. Each unit includes one-half of a common share purchase warrant, exercisable at $0.375 per share for 24 months. Finder's fees of $114,170 were paid, accompanied by the issuance of 496,390 non-transferrable finders' warrants on identical terms. All securities are subject to a statutory hold period of four months and one day.
Daura Gold Corp. (DGC) is conducting a routine capital raise to fund active exploration and cover working capital expenses. The transaction is dilutive, adding approximately 13.2 million common shares and 6.6 million warrants to the capital structure, which pushes total shares outstanding to approximately 98.1 million.
The shares were priced at $0.23, below the $0.25 price of the October 2025 placement, indicating downward market pressure and a less favorable valuation for existing shareholders. While the upsizing demonstrates some investor interest, it does not de-risk the company, alter the pre-revenue exploration stage, or change project economics. The capital extends the cash runway but reinforces the company's reliance on continuous equity financings to fund operations.
Daura Gold Corp. (DGC) is a pre-revenue exploration company focused on gold and silver assets in Peru and Argentina. The company controls a district-scale land package of over 15,900 hectares located in prolific mineral belts.
Its flagship project is the Antonella-Libelulas property in Peru, which features high-grade surface sampling and historic core intercepts. In Argentina, the company holds interests in the Cerro Bayo and La Flora projects, acquired via a binding option agreement to earn up to an 80% interest. Phase I drilling at these sites is complete with high-grade results, while Phase II drilling is currently advancing.
Additional assets include the Tayacoto and Yanamina projects in Peru, which offer polymetallic and historical resource potential.
