K2 Extends Dragonfly Structure and Identifies Additional High-Grade Gold at Flores Target
K2’s Dragonfly strike extends 1km with Flores hitting 28.8 g/t Au as the 14km drill campaign advances.

K2 Gold Corporation has released surface sampling results from 346 rock samples collected during its 2026 exploration program at the Mojave Project in Inyo County, California. The Dragonfly target has been extended 1,000m in strike, with new high-grade samples up to 10.9 g/t Au found 480m south of historical outcrops. At the Flores target, new high-grade zones up to 28.8 g/t Au were identified, including a core intercept of 12.35 g/t Au that extends the prospective interface to 170m strike.
The Stega copper zone returned a significant 24.8% Cu assay from a quartz breccia. Meanwhile, Soda Ridge confirmed an 800m x 400m polymetallic gold zone with values up to 3.04 g/t Au, 2.91% Pb, and >100 g/t Ag.
Drilling updates indicate that 7,600m in 39 holes have been completed at the Eastside Gold Trend out of a fully funded, fully permitted 14,000m campaign. Assay methodology follows standard fire assay and ICP-MS protocols with QA/QC blanks and standards inserted at ~5-10% rates.
K2 Gold Corporation released an expected, incremental update within its ongoing 14,000m Phase II drill program. Surface sampling results validate the geological model established by previous drill intercepts, confirming structural continuity and high-grade oxide gold potential along the Eastside Gold Trend.
The news serves as a follow-up to the rolling drill results released since August 2026 and does not contain genuinely new, unexpected, or market-moving information. The company's projections regarding the 14,000m campaign are materializing as planned, with drilling progressing systematically across Dragonfly, Newmont, and peripheral targets.
No changes to capital allocation, permitting status, or operational risks are introduced.
K2 Gold Corporation (KTO) is a pre-revenue exploration-stage company focused on gold and polymetallic projects in California, Nevada, and Yukon, Canada. Its flagship asset is the Mojave Project, a 5,830-hectare, 100%-owned property in Inyo County, California. The project hosts a district-scale polymetallic system featuring near-surface high-grade oxide gold, copper-gold porphyry and vein systems, and silver-lead-zinc zones.
Key targets within the Mojave Project include Dragonfly, Newmont, Flores, Stega, Soda Ridge, and Morningstar. The Eastside Gold Trend spans over 6.5km and has shown consistent high-grade oxide gold mineralization. The company also holds secondary projects, including the Si2 Project in Nevada, which features a low-sulphidation epithermal system, and the Wels and Wolf Projects in the Yukon, which represent district-scale gold targets.
Regarding regulatory status, the company is fully permitted for exploration drilling following a multi-year Bureau of Land Management environmental review and the issuance of a Record of Decision in early 2026.
