METALLIS DISCOVERS NEW SILVER-GOLD VEINS AND EXPANDS EXPLORATION TARGETS AT GREYHOUND
Metallis reports the Greyhound shear zone widening to 80m with new high-grade silver, gold and antimony veins discovered at the deposit.

Metallis Resources Inc. (MTS) released a mid-season exploration update for its 2026 program at the Greyhound Property in Idaho. Systematic mapping and trenching identified new veins, including Corso, Tanager, and Shiba, while extending existing structures such as Akita and Ridge Cut. The Greyhound Shear Zone is now interpreted as an alteration zone up to 80 meters wide, hosting multiple stacked veins, which expands the previous interpretation of a 1-15m deformation zone.
High-grade rock and chip samples were returned from the Ridge Cut trench, including 1,435 g/t Ag, 0.099 g/t Au, and 2.10% Pb. To date, 92 of 110 rock samples and 406 soil samples have been analyzed. The update confirms the structural complexity and scale of the system, supporting the planned 3,000-meter diamond drilling program targeting the Rufus Zone and other prospects.
Metallis Resources Inc. (MTS) released results from its 2026 surface exploration and drilling program, a development that validates the company’s geological model and expands the known strike and width of the shear zone. While the high-grade surface samples are favorable for future drill targeting, they do not equate to underground intercepts or resource estimates. The market has already priced in the 2025 drill results and the 2026 program, rendering this update incremental. The release triggers no immediate financial impact or capital raise.
Metallis Resources Inc. (MTS) is a pre-revenue exploration company managing two primary assets: the Greyhound Property in Idaho and the Kirkham Property in British Columbia. The company is currently in the exploration stage, with no production or reserves.
The Greyhound Property, located in Custer County, Idaho, covers 673 hectares and hosts polymetallic quartz-sulphide veins containing gold, silver, antimony, lead, and zinc. The deposit is geologically compared to the Lucky Friday Mine. A 2025 maiden drill program intersected high-grade Ag-Au-Sb zones, and the 2026 program focuses on expanding the Rufus Zone and testing new targets.
The Kirkham Property spans 106 km² in BC's Golden Triangle. It focuses on gold and copper porphyry systems and is considered less advanced than the Greyhound Property.
