T2 Metals Advances Its Sherridon Copper-Zinc-Gold-Silver Project in Manitoba, Canada, with Robust Historical Metallurgical Test Results
T2’s Sherridon metallurgical tests demonstrate superior copper and zinc recoveries compared to the Flin Flon operation.

T2 Metals Corp. (TWO) released historical metallurgical test results from its Sherridon Copper-Zinc-Gold-Silver Project in Manitoba. Locked-cycle flotation testing of a Lost Lake composite achieved 97.4% copper recovery and 90.1% zinc recovery. Performance exceeded expectations at the nearby Hudbay Minerals Flin Flon concentrator by approximately 4 to 7 percentage points in grade and recovery.
Favorable results are attributed to lower pyrite/pyrrhotite content and superior sulphide liberation in the Lost Lake ore. The company is initiating new mineralogical characterization and planning confirmatory metallurgical test work on recent drill core from all four deposits (Bob, Cold Lake, Lost Lake, and Jungle). A Qualified Person has not verified sample provenance, chain of custody, or QA/QC protocols to current NI 43-101 standards, noting results may not be fully representative.
T2 Metals Corp. (TWO) released the statement as a technical validation step following its May 2026 NI 43-101 Mineral Resource Estimate. The announcement reinforces the brownfields development narrative by demonstrating that Sherridon's ore processes efficiently using existing Flin Flon concentrator flowsheets.
However, the reliance on 2011 data from a single composite, combined with the Qualified Person’s disclaimer regarding unverified QA/QC, limits the immediate market-moving potential. The news is incremental and expected as the company advances toward a Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA). It does not alter the fundamental risk profile or financial outlook but provides confidence for future economic modeling.
T2 Metals Corp. (TWO) is a discovery-focused explorer with a portfolio spanning gold, silver, and copper projects in Canada and the USA. Its flagship asset is the Sherridon Copper-Zinc-Gold-Silver Project in Manitoba, which hosts four VMS deposits: Bob, Cold Lake, Lost Lake, and Jungle. These deposits contain 10.04 Mt of Indicated resources and 18.15 Mt of Inferred resources.
The project benefits from an operational First Nations-owned rail line, year-round road access, grid electricity, and proximity to the Flin Flon mining community and concentrator. T2 Metals also holds other assets, including the Aurora and Shanghai projects in the Yukon's Tombstone Gold Belt, which feature high-grade gold and silver, as well as the Lida project in Nevada, which focuses on copper and silver.
